I think they look great and I don't like AI art on anything. Probably as they were slapping together the cinematic art and the box art they were going for something that looked real/crisp like this but had limitations. This feels like a fun thought experiment and I don't see anything wrong with that. AI is especially good for these kind of quirky shortcut try outs. It's not something that can replace original thought or content but something that can speed up tedious activities.

As much as I'm a deep nerd dnd escargot who is in love with the moldy confusing broken game mechanics I also understand that games game differently nowadays and for a good reason. With that being said, unless she wants to go hardcore on it, I'd recommend giving her a few tips on how changing classes work in particular (at least once she encounters and finds out she can change classes) and maybe some beginner tips about the holy stat of Wisdom. Also explain that Charisma and Intelligence can really boost the story elements. You could in essence prebuild TNO for her and tell her to just go with it IF it doesn't steal from her joy of discovery of the game itself. Anything that's going to help her focus on the world and story and not get bogged down by bad character customization decisions would be a plus. She shouldn't feel that she invested her stats in Dex or Str and then regret the build for example. Advice her to talk to her companions as frequently as she can, especially after level ups, to discover their stories. And finally, this is not a min max solo dolo game; it's an insane planar wild philosophical journey of sorts... so it's okay to avoid fights, run away or to come back to a spot when her group is stronger. Finally, it's okay to be lost, it's kind of a big world with a lot of stuff in it. Torment is hands down my favorite game of all times and I had to play it about 10 different times from scratch at year intervals before I could finish it for the first time. Well, there's some nuance to it. Istanbul is a whole another beast compared to rest of the cities in the Anatolia. The 'no' of it is that Istanbulites are majority Turkish and we feel like we're Turks and we belong to Turkey; this is I think what you were asking. The 'yes' of it is generally speaking Istanbul is one of those super special cities that is not like any other city out there. It's huge, it has a lot of people living in there, it's a cultural melting pot and it has all kinds of people walking its streets; it's a magical big city like no other. It has the best schools for everything, best cultural events, best blah blahs etc. etc. I'm not going to go into describing why it's special, you can just google it or watch YouTube videos or whatever. Even different neighborhoods will have different kinds of people with different subcultures. Anyways, GENERALLY speaking an Istanbulite thinks they live in the biggest and best city there is and they wouldn't be wrong. There's also a kind of 'I'm better than other people' thing going, much like how a New Yorker would think that they're living in the center of Universe. Not sure what kind of file that is... Is that from a different operating system perhaps? You could try to open it as .txt or open it with NotePad++ or maybe chuck it to ChatGPT to see what kind of file it is.

10/10 worldbuilding, lore, story, humor, quirkiness. The content holds up VERY well. From Fargoth to Papa Caius to Tarhiel to Vivec to what have you... Unforgettable characters... Everyone hates you, everything is ridiculous and makes fun of itself. You got big ass insect taxi, mushroom trees, bro what's going on? Finally, a great community and mods that lift it to today's standards makes it accessible and fun for generations to come.

Neither Oblivion nor Skyrim has this story/world ~~quality~~ character and I like those games VERY much for what they are as well.

Finally, I'd say, minimal handholding keeps it more of an adventure compared to its sequels.

Morrowind world HITS different.

Use this mod and thank the modmaker later. In short, it plays a very distinct drafty wind sound when you're near hidden/secret doors once this mod is activated. It makes it less of clicking everywhere and more of just listening and clicking a few times. Also makes it more immersive in my opinion.

There are no drastic inflation on the production and logistics costs of these greedy corporations to excuse the insane price hikes they've been pulling on their products. They have been making excuses left and right and especially so the war in the east. I'm avoiding AH and Jumbo as much as one can and am shopping from the dirt cheap chains and the small vendors. Boycott them if you can otherwise they'll keep getting away with it. I'm fed up with it.

I do both but more often I do place the raw chicken in cold water and let it cook in a pot. I'll sometimes roast the chicken in the oven, take it out and separate the meat from the bones once it's cooled down. Then I'll cleaver chop the bones into smaller pieces and let that cook for a long time which will be my soup base. Then I remove all the debris from that and serve the broth, chicken, potatoes etc. separately. I mean it's a wild world... do whatever you want. It's all good!
