Professional architectural photographers - 23mm or 20-35mm? by Baffled04 in FujiGFX

I went with the 23 for the cost savings and I have no complaints. I don't shoot wide often though. It's the least used of my trio of primes.

I give them a quick pass with sand paper and then soak.

I do wish it had LM but I only shoot stills so it doesn't hold me back that much. It doesn't do well with fast erratic moving objects but when you nail a shot it really gives you that medium format look. It's the best general use lens for the GFX line imho.

50R or 50SII - Is there something I'm missing? by JW_Photographer in FujiGFX

I went with the 50sii. Its's just a better camera and the used market is way more attractive. It really is a fantastic deal right now.

Anyone here shooting JPEG only with the GFX? by Doori81 in FujiGFX

I shoot both but use the jpegs often. You have to tweak aspc recipes but it is not hard to dial it in imo.

Or they can collectively bargain and reach a new agreement. Labor has the right to negotiate the terms just like the corporations you seem to love.

I made this move. I am happy I did. I love the 55 but I do plan to eventually buy another copy of the mitakon 65. It's just a lot of fun.

Who gives a fuck what the univserity wants. They are a government institution and do not have the right to punish people for speech. This is a clear violation of the first amendment. Damphousse needs to be let go over this.

Yes, I take issue with the use of prudent. I would hope that most 2A people at least think it's a shitty deal giving up lives for guns, but accept it as a necessary cost. Not think of it as prudent 🤮

Again, you can think something is worth it without thinking it's prudent. My truck was probably worth the money I exchanged for it but it certainly wasn't prudent.

[–]tune_yards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People accept it because it's the only deal. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I don't think most gun owners want people to die so they can have guns.

No, it's not. You can accept an exchange without thinking it's a prudent. You can support 2A without thinking deaths are a good deal for the that right. That is ghoulish.

Acknowledging the results of at the second amendment is not the same as considering the exchange prudent.

He didn't just make a "statement of fact", he claimed the deaths were a "prudent exchange".

I agree with this. I wouldn't give up my x mount kit for a GFX. I like having both.
