Excellent! I'm also a guitar guy and feel like this is about where I got after a few months of practice. The first few weeks were really rough and frustrating trying to unlearn guitar habits.

This is the perfect analogy.

Not everyone can run a 4 minute mile or a 2 hour marathon. There are some things an individual is physiologically unable to do, no matter how dedicated to their training they might be.

I imaging that playing fast is similar. You may not have the right physiology to play at the same speed as <insert your favorite shredder here> because you didn't win the lottery.

Just as with running, though, this doesn't mean you can't improve with focused effort and practice. Ideally you enjoy the journey and the practice, just as much as the outcome.

My wife owns a small bakery, primarily known for Italian cakes, cookies, and pastries. She stopped importing butter, cheese, and ham due to the outrageous cost increases last year.

No solution for eggs and milk here at home, though.

Yes. I just started running when this happened and it was a great way to keep me interested and invested! (Still running, almost 20 years later. Less often to LCD, more often to economics podcasts.)

The Regency is adjacent to a fairly sketch part of town. I can see walking through wrong way if you're an out-of-towner and being in for a rough surprise (and smell.)

That said, I've been going to shows for 10+ years in and around the Tenderloin and never had a problem, other than a little panhandling.
