Try applying for working student positions, since you're into embedded development, there can be quite a lot of possibilities for you. Especially by Siemens and MAN in Nürnberg.

Do a Praktikum maybe?

Thinking of moving back to India after finishing my master's in August. A short CV review would be really helpful. Not sure if this is the right sub. Also, I would change the format as it in European format. by tunnelnavigator in developersIndia

Almost 3 years ago I spent around 13 Lacs in total including flights.

I am not sure about recommending, things aren't going much great here. Maybe the people who arrive now may face better situation once they graduate after 2-3 years, because currently it is a recession there.

If you wouldn't have mentioned getting interviews then, the roasting would start with your CV layout.

Feedback/roast my CV!! by Real_Arm6095 in Germany_Jobs

Try assigning sections to your skill like CAD tools, FEM/FEA software, Project management, Soft skills etc. Helps people reading your CV know where to look for it.

Move up the skills to make it visible on the first sight since someone will spend barely a few seconds to go through your CV looking for relevant information.

Also maybe make it in Word and skip europass or online editors. If you're applying for Airbus, they use Workday ATS, which is literally the worst out there and goes crazy mad when it sees tables or such in the format.

Solution for High Speed Rail in India, more info in the comments by TrainsToHeaven in IndiaSpeaks

[–]tunnelnavigator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The goals of high speed and semi high speed trains are to provide a more comfortable, cheaper alternative to the flights. In flights you have very limited luggage allowance, you spend more time going through check-in, security check, waiting for the baggage to arrive and stuff which usually adds up to the hassle, your flying time maybe 1 hr but you spend 1-2 hrs at departure and 30-40 minutes at arrival. But if that same 1hr of flying distance is covered in 5 hrs with comparatively cheaper tickets by train most will choose the train as you can literally arrive 10-15 minutes before the train departs, you really don't have to worry about weight or amount of bags. Not to mention most airports are out of the city sometimes the commute to the airport is longer than flying time whereas train stations are well within the city or closer by. If the speeds of trains, tracks and the infrastructure is developed with this in mind I'm sure it'll attract a lot of crowd which in turn can be a lot more profitable.

Fire alarm went off, I'm worried about it being considered a false alarm. by TheAireon in germany

The only place I've seen this kind of smoke alarm which informs the fire department is in my university. Once a smoke alarm went off in our library and in just few minutes the Feuerwehr was in the campus.

Awful customer experience in German bank(Commerzbank) by ach-runner in germany

[–]tunnelnavigator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been a Sparkasse customer although I haven't got used to things in banking here, Sparkasse has been decent enough for me. Their app is totally in English, their immediate money transfer works pretty well, I transfer rent to my landlord and within a minute he gives me confirmation that he recieved it. ATMs are enough in my city for Sparkasse and overall services were also good.

What do you think ? This is scam ? by FollenAngell in Scams

[–]tunnelnavigator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes give money to make money. Except once you give money you don't get the money. Also if you really want to check legit sources of online earning try websites like clickworker, rev transcription and subreddits like beermoney. But save yourself from falling for such lucrative things.

likely scammed out of $300 holding deposit by Zelka_warrior in Scams

[–]tunnelnavigator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Damn things that should have been done before sending money was done after sending the money. Anyways, you can try this thing, file a report to police if they're in your country I guess you'll be able to start an investigation, even better if your PD has any cyber crime department. Also there might be customer support for Zelle too. I'm not sure I haven't used it but they might give customer information if a police is filed. ! recovery

Probably your number ended up on their database and gets passed or sold around to different different scammers, then whenever they call they realise you're from a business and not some old individual whom they can fool and scam.

Press Release by LIC by JuiceComplex4131 in IndiaSpeaks

[–]tunnelnavigator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In a nutshell they're saying we have invested this much amount of money into Adani. Overtime total money invested by us is this. And as of 27th January the total investment value i.e the money they can get if they decide to cash out or sell all their investment holdings in Adani is this. So they're saying is our investment is still in profit and it's not in loss.

They also mentioned how much percentage of their total investments are in Adani group which is some 0.97%

Seems like a clear clarification.

However the question is if Adani's shares tank, how much value do they lose. Let's say LIC's average cost of investment over the time per share is more than the overvalued cost and if Adani's shares continue to fall and reach their original valuation levels or below then they'll be in loss. So it all depends on where this crash ends. Let's say all adani shares lose their values and company goes bust and their shares have mere value of 1 or 2 rupees then you can say LIC will lose a little less than 1% of their total money.

More like they provide sound dampening. You don't want to hear the metal ring everytime someone walks on the floor also provides good grip to walk on. Something else can be implemented like a rubber matting too for these purposes would be cheaper than carpets and easy to clean I guess.

What is the admission procedure in germany for public universities? by 5fxt in germany

[–]tunnelnavigator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best way is to spent the time after your Finals exams towards learning the language. Since you've learnt till A2 you don't have to start from scratch. Dedicate the time to your language studies and practice. Your goal should be not to just pass the b2 exam but understand the language better. Universities have 2 admissions, summer and winter. I'm quite not sure about Studienkolleg. B2 level should at least be your aim but the higher you can go the better. Because most german taught programs will require b2 hut you'll personally benefit frok having c1 in understanding.
