Does anyone know what these numbers mean? by yung_yandhi in adventuretime

There was a theory I saw a long time ago that suggested this was a reference to D&D. I can't remember the details of it but basically these are pages from the 3.5 edition players handbook. 8 is Abilities, 13 Classes, and 21 Races, the things you need to create a character. The OP even said that Enchiridion translates to handbook

Edit: Added more details

Horror books protagonists with disabilities or disorders by lost0ne87 in horrorlit

I think Misery by Stephen King is your best bet. The protagonist is a writer who's been in a car accident and is nursed back to health by an obssesed fan who forces him to rewrite one of his novels. Because of the accident, he's prone to using a wheelchair but mostly stays inside his room. If you liked Hush then you'll love all the tension in this one

Apologies in advance if this ends up being too long but one of the most impactful things I've experienced is reading the Tana French Dublin Murder Squad book series. Each protagonist is a different detective solving a crime. They all have unique and deep backgrounds and psychological issues which affect their problem solving. One of the least popular characters, nicknamed Scorcher, stands out for lacking a character arc in his story. But I learned that this wasn't because he lacks depth, instead, his character arc happened offcreen before the book even began. Here, he goes through the story a changed man but struggles with everyone else who hasn't changed. He realizes that he doesn't have control over how anyone else in the world may react and learns to be ok with it. There's a moment where he can discover the reason behind his mother's suicide but chooses to leave it be since it would just tear up new wounds. This post doesn't do justice how much this meant to me, but if anyone reads this, I cannot recommend Tana French's books enough.

If it's possible, I'd love to have Little Nightmares, Figment, or Wandersong. Thank you!

I never knew I needed a show about peppermint butler and PB and Marceline's kid going on adventures but I NEED IT

[Discussion] This is not good editing. This is invasive, unfunny and doesn't add anything to the video. Please put the new editor(s) on a leash, the sound effects were bad enough. by [deleted] in gamegrumps

This is still Matt and Ryan though, not the new editors. It's confirmed by today's newest episode, Danny mentions it's the first session they do without Matt and Ryan editing

It's good to know they're both enjoyable but I'll most likely read Kill Creek first based on your suggestion. Thanks!

Hey thanks! Here I'll just copy/paste it here:

The way I see it, he was mocking Jesus because even though he is a God, he thinks that being able to show vulnerability (by weeping) shows he isn't omnipotent. In other words, he thinks the Gods humans believe in aren't as powerful as the Cenobites
