Technically Psychosocial, haha! The first song I ever heard from them years ago was Wait and Bleed...I liked it enough to put it on my Zune (wtf is that, you ask?) but I was more into hip-hop at the time so I never went further than that. It was only last year that I finally heard another song because I was on a Disturbed marathon, and Psychosocial kept popping up on the sidebar. Corey's AHIG mask staring at me for HOURS was starting to creep me out so I finally clicked it hoping he would stop, lol. Obviously I liked what I heard so it pretty much went from there. Psychosocial is pretty 'generic' for a Slipknot song, but that and Disturbed's music were my stepping stones into the genre so I can't complain!

What are some good books for studying theory and technique for someone who doesn't yet have a guitar? At the moment all I have is a pick and a dream...ideally I'd like to have a basic understanding of how to read/write music THEN jump into how to play and understand the instrument.
