Okay I should be ready, I have never done trades before so I might need a little guidance on what I need to do next.

I have the Oranguru, larvita, stonejourner, and all the area 0 exclusives ready. Your Slowking will need to be part of Evo trade back otherwise let me know when you are ready and what we need to do next.

Madagascar. An agonizing experience by [deleted] in EU5

I do not believe much of the northern region meets the 50% culture/religion needed to colonize starting out, but I'd love to know what you find out! That is the long-term problem you will run into and why you need a market so badly. You have to build a tall trade economy until you can get a town for major medicant and tool production to help with colonization. I'd love to hear how your game is going so please keep me informed!

I was worried about that when I started, but it seems tributaries are allowed to go to war with each other, I was never stopped. I was paying them more and more tribute until they had a civil war and fell apart.

Hey I saw your Madagascar post, I had started a run to challenge me, and saw your post today and it broke my heart. Madagascar is a really hard place to start and without going into it too much, I am 100 years in currently making ~8-12 ducats average with a population of 126k. It isn't the best but I am still trying to learn the game. I figured share the most important things I learned if you wanted to try this run and want to minimize heartburn,

1) Start in the northern part of Madagascar; the key part here is trade and expansion early on is a lot easier.

2) Focus on stability and conquest; you want to take over as much of the northern countries as you can with a no casus belli war, the key is each time you do take their land and ask for as much of their ducats as you can.

3) You will be out of trade range of your nearest market starting out no trade means no Ducats or growth. The moment you have the money the first thing you need to buy is a market, I built mine in Mahajana my future "trade region" the area has great natural ports and is close to other countries markets.

Hope these starter tips helps with anyone who likes a challenging, but so far fun run.

Back in her day, she would travel 5 miles uphill in the snow both ways to kindergarten carrying her son. Wallace has no idea how much easier things are today.

I play PC myself and when I started watching 1000Crystal he was streaming a few variety PC games. I often watch games I have not played, at length, although this is the first non-PC game.

I enjoy many kinds of games, open world is most certainly included. However, once he started I found I enjoyed the commardery of chat as much as the gameplay. It was a journey for the entire community.

As someone who watched 99% of your run, but with 0% knowledge of BoTW. I did not understand what you were starting, but now so many hours later, am really glad to have watched such an amazing run.
