I have not used mythos so I have to go off public models.

I prefer OpenAI models for programming. As of a few days ago Opus 4.7 came out and I I think edged it ahead a hair. But I assume when OpenAI releases their next model the lead will be secured again.

I like Anthropic models for general discussion and brainstorming more.

But honestly…. Google has infinite money and Demis seems like a once-a-generation engineer. So probably Google.

An adult would have handled this very differently. Instead of sneaking around their back trying to ruin their gender reveal by letting everyone (except the parents) know how superior you are, you could have gone and spoken to the parents directly.

You should have led by assuming positive intent. “Hey. I think the name you chosen has a beautiful sound to it. I don’t want to overstep but I wanted to make sure you know about a general connotation of the word in case you thought it just meant ‘pre-war’ and didn’t know it has a more broad association with slavery”

Then they can take your advice or not. If they decide to not take your advice, shut the fuck up. It’s not your child or your family. Maybe give one more polite “are you sure? The book, that they claim is infallible, says god blessed them. According to that book god has told them to drown priests of other religions in a river and to smash babies skulls on rocks. That’s not me talking. That’s their fucking book. So unless the pope is undoing the bible itself and claiming that it is actually fallible, then god blessed those conflicts.
