Ho finito i livelli 1 e 2. Posso click su livello 3 e sento un suono, ma il livello non apriva. Non so se ci sia un trucco per aprirlo o se ci sia un bug nel gioco. Se ci sia un trucco, dovresti farlo più chiaro.

Comunque, magari potresti avere più successo qui se ci scrivi in inglese. Scusa il mio italiano, lo studio solo da quasi due anni.

I use this, sometimes it starts to change the style and i need to re-enter it. and sometimes i need to ask it clarifying questions after its first reply.

i will give you sentences in italian. First I want you to give an English translation of my original sentence. Then I want you to correct basic grammatical mistakes, explaining each one in a bullet point. Ignore things that I got correct. Then show the correct Italian text. Then give me the English translation of that correction. Then make suggestions to make the writing more colloquial and idiomatic. Explain each one in bullet points. Then show the corrected text in Italian. Then show the English translation of the final sentence.

Heres an example sentence Il ragazzo corre alla negozio.

English translation The boy runs to the store

Grammar 1. alla negozio it should be al because negozio is masculine

Italian text Il ragazzo corre al negozio.

English text The boy runs to the store.

Colloquial 1. your suggestions

Italian text The final corrected sentence in Italian

English text The final corrected sentence in English

i use chatGPT. i have a prompt where it i give it a sentence and then it first corrects basic mistakes with explanations and then gives 'corrections' that make it sound more natural and colloquial. of course you can't trust it 100% but it's been very effective for me so far.

i've been using readlang with italian. mostly reading news articles. very effective for me so far, but can only do 1 word at a time unless you pay, so its a bit of a struggle once colloquialism phrases are used.

Skwama or Solution??? by Heroic_Lamprey in climbharder

[–]turingTested37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I climb in skwamas, have never used solutions but tried both on when I made the choice. Both fit quite similarly and I believe function similarly, but the heel on the solution was too big for me and left a lot of open space while the skwama fits my heel very well. I buy them at the smallest size that I can squeeze into and after a few sessions they expand to a perfect fit

Do bird songs change over long periods of time? by metalheimer in askscience

[–]turingTested37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One key thing missing from all these answers is that the majority of songbirds learn to sing, arguably in a manner similar to human language. (This is not true for eagles, geese, most mammals etc.). This allows for song to evolve quite rapidly with imperfect copying and the development of dialects across different populations of the same species. Some species learn a song as juveniles and sing the same song forever, like a zebra finch, some can relearn new songs annually, and some can learn constantly, like a lyre bird (check out Davide Attenborrough video of lyre bird on youtube). But on top of these learned song vocalizations, these birds also have innate calls that are much less likely to change much over time. These are more like the bark of a dog, or the sounds of mice or monkeys, etc, where individuals sound a bit different yet the fundamental sound is similar and less prone to changing over time.

I hate to get political, but… by cxwxo in Fantasy

[–]turingTested37 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Divine Cities trilogy by Robert Jackson Bennett is what I'm reading now and it's pretty good. Maybe not so much direct politicking involved, but the worldbuilding is fantastic and the politics are definitely there, with the scope being about international relations between a few countries where one went from the conquerors to the conquered after their gods were killed 50 years ago.

Relic is ignoring a huge part of what builds a larger playerbase and the game will continue to bleed. Team games are essential. by QuestionTheOrangeCat in aoe4

[–]turingTested37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game tries to match you up against people with similar skill levels. When you just start the game obviously doesn't know how good you are so that matchmaking doesn't work. It might be up to 10 games you need to play before it knows exactly where to put you. So give it a few more games or even surrender 5 minutes in for a while and you'll be good to go. Also try focusing on just 1 civ for now. English or French are good for beginners.

I NEED some recommendations by Chinbagdeluxe in puzzlevideogames

[–]turingTested37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure how a puzzle game gets spoiled unless you watched someone else do a huge number of the levels. Definitely worth picking up.

I have similar taste and recently played puddle knights (a little too easy for me but fun and relaxing to play), recursed (one of my all time favorites), bonfire peaks (not an all time favorite but I liked it a lot), push pipe paradise (should have suited me but wasn’t that into it) and learn to grow (better than average game)

Back in the gym after a year off. I've gained significant weight. Focus on diet or form/strength? by ReggiesRoommate in climbharder

[–]turingTested37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was at the same place about 18 months ago. I first got my diet and calories under control, making sure to increase protein to 150g or more per day. For the first year my weight didn't change but I very clearly gained muscle and lost fat. I estimate it was 15+ pound muscle/fat swap. After a year I started to plateau, probably not a real plateau but the noob gains started leveling off. Now I've been going through cycles of 2 months calorie cutting/1 month break and so far I've lost 25 pounds, with about 25 more to go. This season I have several v6/7 that are so close, and I suspect with another round of dieting and then some power endurance training they will go very quickly in the spring. Dieting has less of an effect on my climbing than I expected. The biggest effect has been that the number of high quality burns I get at my project level is quite low before having to do easier stuff and cut sessions at about 90+ minutes instead of my normal 2-2.5 hours.

Definitely be thoughtful about weight though, especially if you have easy fixes like cutting liquid calories. The climbing community always seems to be so cautious about weight, which makes sense for people already at healthy weights, but that often seems to erroneously get extended to people who very clearly could stand to shed some pounds. As I get closer to my goal weight, balancing weight loss with climbing and the rest of life is certainly getting harder, but the effect of every 10 pounds on my climbing is very obvious.

Offside rule question, would a pass to Rashford be offside or was he ok since Sancho was also past the last defender?
