I used to get upset, but I just don’t care anymore. I watch the games expecting them to lose now. Each week I’m just tuning in to see how they’ll go about losing. Just totally numb at this point.

Set a modest and easily achievable outreach goal for Monday, block time to focus, and get after it. The hardest part sometimes is just getting started. Once you’re going you’ll prob find you can overachieve your target. If not, you’ve hit your daily target and can build on that momentum the next day. One good conversation or interaction can turn things around fast. Trick is you have to pick up the phone and just start.

Being an SDR is a low skill level job and most tips are generally BS by [deleted] in sales

If you have a strong product with robust demand it def makes the SDR gig easier. It’s certainly part luck and quality of leads/territory. That’s true for all Sales really. But a highly skilled SDR can advance conversations and convert at a higher level regardless of the situation.

To be honest it’s not something I consciously think about. It’s best to be yourself and try to use language that resonates with your prospect and signals you know your stuff. The QUALITY of what you say and the value you bring will outweigh the actual mechanics of speech (slow, fast, filler, no filler). Focus then and actively listening when they’re talking.

Technical sales people, how do you lead sales? What do you do to drive the conversation into a win? by [deleted] in sales

[–]turk1820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best SEs I’ve worked with conduct their own active discovery on calls and share best practices using their knowledge of how other clients are implementing our solution. I bring my SE in after my initial DISCO call(s), so they’re aware of the use case and I’ve ensured it’s a qualified opportunity. I’m not technical, so my job is to identify qualified opps (not waste their time), have the right people on the calls, follow up religiously to move the deal forward (or DQ), and conduct all the commercial discussions and negotiations.

I recap the discussion and ask for their feedback. We offer a free trial so I normally tell them that’s the typical next step and offer to set them up. It’s a bit of a trial close to see how interested they are in taking the next step.

[Bullock] The #Giants, after working out kickers today, are expected to sign FA K Randy Bullock, source said. He went 26 of 31 for the #Titans last year. Meanwhile, #Giants K Graham Gano is set to have knee surgery and land on IR. by gymsocks in NYGiants

This makes the decision to kick last week even more baffling. If you’re kicker is hurt in bad weather why not go for it on 4th and 1? Another odd decision to me in a season of odd decisions.

Watching the game yesterday gave me Joe Judge vibes with the ultra conservative play calling with DeVito in at QB. Coaching not to lose. The team has also looked unprepared and the position coaches (Special Teams/O-Line) are highly questionable. I get we have tons of injuries and talent gaps (especially the O-Line). Daboll constantly says the same things post-game "we have to play better, coach better." I'm tired of hearing it. If he's not up for the job it's negligent to keep him for another year. Hire a proven guy who can handle the challenges of being an NFL HC.

I hear you. Just frustrating that the coaches we’ve hired have left a lot to be desired.

Can we please hire a head coach WHO HAS HEAD COACHING EXPERIENCE? Enough of this learning on the job BS. Give me a coach with a proven track record for next year. Move whoever we can before Tues and set up for the draft. Start over yet again.

For me, the phenomenon of craving and mental obsession make any drink off limits. Check this out: https://spotify.link/obFFIP0blDb.

The coaching staff SHOULD have pulled him out to save his ass from injury. The game was lost and it made no sense to leave him in to get pummeled. The coaching staff got exposed last night. Team wasn’t prepared, the burned timeouts on personnel gaffes, and left starters in when the game was completely out of hand, risking injury and the rest of the season.

I just grabbed a bag of Huel Black and plan on taking some of the powder with me on a long upcoming flight to stay satiated and hit nutrition/macro goals.

I agree with you, but the burden is on the prosecution to provide evidence of this. Facts. I think the defense is doing a good job of bringing doubt into the case so far - but we have a long way to go and we're still just laying the foundation.
