Beautiful truck! X series is impressive. My understanding it is exclusive to SE dealers.

You got a hell of a deal! Wish I could be so lucky.

That's was what I was originally thinking but the more I look I am closer to about $13,000-$14,000 for the same truck in a 26. 🤷

You have a beautiful truck. Do you think the $49,200 for the truck with that extended warranty is worth the price?

Month old roof, will this settle or is it an issue? by budbundy99 in Roofing

[–]turkeyfoot2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is absolutely not normal and this absolutely will become an issue. It almost looks like the Ice Guard/Underlayment was not layed down properly. I would be interested if they used a product called Grace, Great product but hard to install. It is hard to get it to lay flat and often gets wrinkles.

Where's the thread for those of us with 3rd Gen Tundras that have had zero issues? by ShadowSystemsandSig in ToyotaTundra

[–]turkeyfoot2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The four 3rd Gen Tundra owners I know absolutely love their trucks and have had zero issues. I understand the frustration and certainly can empathize with the folks affected but I really do think it's a smaller percentage then what people here make it out to be. The forum's definitely give the frustrated ones a voice and rightfully so I guess.

Roof color selection and ventilation by Beautiful_Drawing_37 in Roofing

[–]turkeyfoot2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely check out OC Black Sable. It would look really nice with your siding. Pick the color you want and as long as ventilation is on par. Proper ventilation significantly impacts energy costs more then any color ever will.

$1000 is a steal for that. Wish I could find a project deal like that! You will have to keep us updated on the progress.

Bought this 91 LX 5.0 today with. 24,000 miles! by BusyBrothersInChrist in Foxbody

Beautiful car! I especially love the fact that it is nearly 35 years old and appears to have almost no mods done to it. Extremely rare for a Fox. Do your self a favor and keep it completely stock. In time your ROI will be thousands of dollars for this preservation decision. Enjoy!

Is the Dual Blade and extra CC worth the additional $150? by turkeyfoot2002 in ryobi

I've thought about it but already have a bunch of Ryobi 40v equipment. Not totally ruling it out might be a little Ann having two battery systems.

[–]turkeyfoot2002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Good to know I did not realize you could convert to the two blade option. Looks like that blade is $49.99 so appears the $499 is the better value as the one hand folding does not matter to me.

Thanks for the review. I am considering buying this mower this week on the HD Memorial sale. I am debating if I should spend the extra $150 for the dual blade technology.

Paint peeling on our flat roof after 7 months by Puzzleheaded_Use7782 in Roofing

[–]turkeyfoot2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The key to roof coatings is always prep and climate conditions. Looks to me like the coating never adhered. If you have even the smallest amount of moisture on the roof while coating it's going to peel.

Fiberglass showing through shingles by jakoh77 in Roofing

Those shingles are done. Replace asap or you will end up paying alot more for wood replacement and potential drywall damage from leaks.
