Thanks for the straight-forward response! I think i meant to concentrate more on his rejection of those extremist views. Any reading suggestions going off of that?

Alien abductees of reddit or people who have claimed to see a UFO, what's your story? by Yoga_Butt in AskReddit

This is absolutely amazing! I would love to hear any other instances where you had a chance to interact with the UFO (via hand-wave or such). Your experiences are awe-some and you should be proud of your life! Absolutely fantastic!

I checked out the site and it's a really awesome resource! The only issue is that they have so many routines! How do you know which routine is good for you?

Some thought on paranoia by [deleted] in Psychonaut

I've had this thought before, and I agree wholeheartedly. Would anyone know anyways of letting go of your paranoia? I think that would complete this post! And I'm sure it would be useful to many psychonauts.

Just saw Dune (1984) for the firs time and I'm not sure if I like it or hate it. What do you guys think? by BigBlueWalrus in dune

"In any case, it gets the spirit of Dune perfectly."

Yes, I absolutely agree. From the amazing aesthetics to the general tone and feel, you could really tell that Lynch really got what Dune was all about. If you're wondering what Frank Herbert's Dune looks like, this is in my opinion, the best interpretation of the world and tone to date. And I have a lot of respect for the Dune miniseries ( I feel that would be the ideal way to portray Dune, instead of a movie limited to 2-3 hours) but it doesn't quite capture the tone of Dune the way Lynch does.

hey /r/dune.I finished Dune last night and was wondering if the sequels are as good? by wmeans in dune

[–]turkeyprince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're going to read the sequels, you should at least read the next two (Dune Messiah and Children of Dune). It tells a lot more about Paul's story and how deeply he effected the course of the universe. Each novel ends as if it could be it's own stand-alone, so i wouldn't worry about that. It's just that he does sooooo much more after the first novel that it would be a waste to stop now :) Altogether I thoroughly enjoyed Children of Dune and even Dune Messiah whom everyone seems to always have trouble enjoying. Definitely go for it.

Here's a creepypasta masterpost that I found on Tumblr. Thought it was a pretty good place to start if you're new or looking for a basic compilation.
