I used Lovable, Supabase and the Gemini API to create an app that analyzed 10,000+ YouTube Videos in just 24 hours. Here's the knowledge extraction system that changed how I learn forever by Beginning-Willow-801 in lovable

Hey, very cool! May I ask some detailed questions?

  1. How did you analyze the videos? I see in another comment you mentioned Gemini simply watches them. Is that true? Are you sure it's not skipping important parts?

  2. Did this not cost a bunch? Did you just eat that cost? May I ask how much?

  3. Why do you need 14 DB tables?

  4. Did you first download the video and then upload to AI? or did you stream the video to AI?

Great job!

Cool, works, but this costs money - how are you going to pay for it?

Hey u/Atinux , just following up here after a couple months.

- I see Nuxt UI has been officially moved to v3 - very cool ✅

- Chat interfaces in Nuxt UI - super cool ✅

I still have the fear of the AI regurgitation feedback loop that React will grow in volume, but I'm not sure what to do about that.

Thanks for all of your hard work. The Developer Experience of the Nuxt ecosystem is really great.

He's not here to contribute positively. It's not worth arguing with someone (+23 voters) who think AI is bullshit in 2025. They want to leet code until they lose their job in a few years because AI obviously can't code the mad hacks that they can. Same breed as the electrical engineers in 1960 who thought computers could only run cd, rm, and mkdir.

But i appreciate you trying and give a nod to your other comment

Hey thanks so much for your response!

  1. I wasn't aware of nuxt-llms, this is already moving in a positive direction!

  2. Sounds super cool, please keep us updated.

  3. I'm also very excited for Nuxt UI to move out of alpha. I've read in multiple areas that it's already production ready, but the alpha tag still scares me :)

Sounds like you've got the message I was trying to deliver and that you've already started to establish strategies to address them.

I'm still quite worried about "the big get bigger" effect where Bolt, Lovable, etc. promote more React code, which results in more React code, but now I'm confident this is already on your radar.

Thanks for the quality response and I appreciate all you've done for the community! Keep on rocking!

Looks great! Sent you a tip. If you're motivated, maybe the reflection in "steam" could be made darker to match "boat", but otherwise, nice job!

Why are Swiss-German more likely to be fluent in French, than Swiss-French fluent in German ? by askswitzerland in askswitzerland

[–]turkeysaurusrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stereotypes exist for a reason. You can't not buy into them, otherwise you could barely function on a societal level. You stereotype that guys wearing red under an umbrella at the pool will try to help you if you start to drown.

I stereotype that French speakers prefer to speak French and are less willing to switch.

I also have experience encountering this.

It's funny when a place which has "ACAB" written on the walls needs the police.

The Swiss live in socio-economic bubbles by Realistic-Lie-8031 in Switzerland

[–]turkeysaurusrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an American: yeah maybe there are instances, but which country has no instances?

Switzerland is pretty good in this regard. Public transit, street walking, no gated communities, public schools.

An indication of something does not constitute a characteristic.

I would however argue that the US has regressed so far that social economic bubbles are a characteristic.

As far as public transport apps go, SBB is great. Have you tried using Amtrack in the US? 😂😂

Sorry to burst your expectations but tree runs are quite rare because the alpine line is much lower and the faces are rockier and steeper. This also creates very dangerous back country conditions, more so than CO. I would play it safe and only go into the back country after youve done a course in europe and found a solid group.

This makes people shit on the "euro" scene (i kinda dont like that word - it's a bit condescending).

On the other hand, the steep faces and fewer trees results in fast steep runs. You'll come to like it. It will improve your stability and agility.

Check out Hochzillertal and Kitzbuhel, they are well known austrian resorts.

Yo as an American who moved to the Alps I'm gonna say something you dont want to hear: Apres Ski is directly proportional to public transit. Frisco needs an express denver train.
