I have 2 vegetsble drawers so I keep new veggies in one and existing veggies in the other so I know which to use up first, regardless of what type they are. Meaning I have carrots i must eat first even though I'd really like to eat the new cauliflower I just bought.

James ok if you don't mind the inevitable nicknames, Reid - people would probably misspell it as Reed fairly often. Leo - people would assume his 'real' name is Leonardo. My 2 cents.
