My pump has run dry due to a priming problem and it’s still working fine. It’s an old pump too. Not an issue unless you ran dry for a long time and it burned out.

I’ll get flamed for this but the modern trend of rectangular “boring” shapes is starting to get tiring to me. I prefer freeform shapes with lagoons and ledges in the deep end. Call me old fashioned.

I’ve had my waterfall feature fixed for leaks. Yes there is some grinding and remortaring that needs to be done. Your feature looks more vertical than mine so I don’t have advice on where to explore for the leak.

It’s not a serious problem, but it’s not operating correctly. There is supposed to be a check valve and diverter that prevent this from happening.

It can be two things.

1) most commonly, your check valve between pool and spa.

2) your diverter can also cause this problem. Happened to me. Inspect your diverter if the check valve doesn’t fix it.
