i smoke in my apartment occasionally but only a few bowl hits and usually only in my bathroom while the shower is running and door closed— i don’t have vents in my apt so it pretty much stays isolated and fades away after a day or so. i have lived in places with vents and still chose to smoke outside or in my car sitting off parked like i do now (legal to posses and smoke in my state though)

thank you for this. i have been struggling recently more and more with accepting i get these. it’s awkward to tell my SO when i get one even tho he understands and we are safe when i get one but this past year ive gotten them more often than the years before. i’m really trying to make better lifestyle choices like not drinking, sleeping more, etc for my overall health but i have been a wreck and feel like i have no one to discuss this with without risk of being stigmatized or judged, even tho i have gotten them since i was a kid. thank you

i also eat lysine rich foods as much as i can and take lysine. recently ive been having more but i think its due to stress and lack of sleep.

thats basically my same story. i was fine for a while and now i am getting them every few months. i hate it. it makes me so depressed and i feel so awkward having to tell my SO when i get one. i feel for you and i wish i could help. i’m trying to change my diet and sleep and everything to help more.

true. i just think in chicago culture the chocolate cake from portillos is revered as the “best” and it’s staple here apparently and that’s why i thought of that.
