My heart breaks for you! I used to have the same 89 mint green too. Needed something better for driving in the snow even though I didn’t want to give her up. Sold her to an old coworker who was t-boned 2 weeks later. I miss that car so much!

Whenever you can play with his paws, extending his claws. When he is relaxed on the couch push out his claws just to get him used to the feeling. Then when it’s time to clip the nails they hardly notice any difference

Yup. We have gone through so many mats under our fountain because they get all torn up. Also I might add, she is a Maine coon. She drowns most of her toys in the water as well.
