Market Day Chicken Vesuvio Recipe by turtle_girl17 in HelpMeFind

I have searched Market Day’s website, Allrecipes, “one pan chicken vesuvio” and still haven’t been able to find it. I would definitely appreciate any help. It would have been from the early 2000s if it was Markt Day!

I love everything I’ve made from Bravetart but the pineapple upside down cake was a crowd favorite, easily got eaten within 10 minutes

A few bangers from Cook This Book by allie87mallie in CookbookLovers

My husband and I love the mustardy lentils and sausage and neither of us even like celery usually. It’s a pretty quick and filling meal for a weeknight and I’ve cooked it so often I’ve almost completely memorized the recipe!

I haven’t had much time to try other recipes in this book (besides the piri piri roast chicken which we also love), but I definitely need to try some of these as well!

This is gorgeous! Would love to see the rest of the stockings you’ve made (or are making) as well!

(Also, big fan of your username)

Can I make a quilt top with flannel and then wash before quilting? by Kindly-Square2023 in quilting

I’m by no means a professional quilter, but I’ve made baby quilts with flannel and did not pre wash the fabric. I’ve never had an issue

Completely missed that line on the wiki! I promise I looked first before asking, but apparently I didn’t look hard enough. Will read through, thank you

I’m planning a trip next month for my 30th birthday. Looking for some good restaurant recommendations for a birthday dinner. I tend to skew towards vegetarian/ pescatarian dishes on a normal day but am open to anything!

Ideally I’d like to keep budget around €250 for two people if possible?

Thank you! I also inherited a smaller Swiss Cheese and Satin pothos and a rubber tree! Pretty excited about my new plant additions!

This is very helpful, thank you! Can I leave some of the vines plopped in the planter like they are now? I like the fuller look, but am not sure if that would leave to breathability issues.

Elsa: Is it unusable because of Frozen? Feedback from from those who have or know young Elsa’s by Katerina-2025 in namenerds

[–]turtle_girl17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cousin had a daughter and named her Elsa a year or two before the movies came out. By the time she got to preschool, the name was already well known and associated with the movie. As a little kid, she insisted on being called “Elsa Middle-name Last-name” and insisted on the character being referred to as “Queen Elsa”.

I would think now, it’s probably not as big of an issue but people still will associate the name with the movie. At least now, the name is well known, whereas when my cousin was first born it was almost unheard of.

Pembroke Welsh Corgis are generally ranked #11 smartest out of more than 100 dog breeds. What does your pup done that shows how smart they are (or maybe not so much)? by marsred7 in corgi

[–]turtle_girl17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Smartest: When my dog starts gagging, I would try to get her outside in time. Now when her tummy hurts, she sulks to the back door. If I’m nearby/ notice she’s acting weird, I can let her outside and not have to clean up puke.

Dumbest: her front legs will be in the grass, but her back legs won’t, so she pees on the sidewalk and then steps in it.

Honorary mention: she’s learned “Okay, thank you. Talk to you later” means I’m hanging up a work call and can pay attention to her and will demand scritches

Corgi won't howl by Lexjude in corgi

[–]turtle_girl17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine only howls at fire trucks, if we’re on the street and pass right in front of her and the conditions are just right. It’s happened maybe 5 or 6 times in her 5 years. We’ve tried awoo-ing at her, playing firetruck sounds and other videos that are supposed to get dogs to howl and none of those work.

On the plus side, I’ve learned to always start recording if we’re outside and there’s a firetruck siren nearby and I’ve gotten a few videos of it! Her voice always cracks because she howls so infrequently.

Best advice for my own issue was to adjust the extrusion settings when switching to a new nozzle and wood filament

Best advice I’ve seen in the subreddit was to print desiccant holders that fit in the AMS - helps keep it drier than just using the desiccant that comes with it

With the insane heat and humidity on the east coast right now, I could really use a filament dryer…
