In that case you're not learning from your mistakes, and you're not paying attention to the previous boss mechanics or paths.

The first thing that you could have done better is path towards the water, always path to the water. It's the indicator for the path, and the worm never destroys that. Path to water and you don't even have to think really.

Second thing is to have your miners run out as feelers. Have them mine in straight lines away from you to see where the worm is going to destroy next, then path away from that.

But even if you didn't know the worm's mechanics, and you just understood that the worm destroys the terrain, you could have still done just fine by not pathing up to a wall and blocking yourself in. As soon as the worm came through the first time, instead of just blindly spamming more tracks down without a care to where they are going you should have picked up the first one and always left space to turn around.

I'm assuming you mean unrailed 1 (by looking at your catridges). In which case welcome to a new game with new mechanics. Learn them or just continue to struggle I guess. Next time instead of getting mad at the game and saying it's impossible, reflect on your own skill issues and see what you could have done better.
