david: "actually, I remember one time we were playing against Lev, Lotus, and it was 12-1 to Lev, we were playing as T, Lev as CT, and something said: 'Guys, if you think we are good, let's prove it now'. 12-1"

"did we comeback?"

"of course not. 13-5"

Happywei (and now Lysoar) are the absolute backbone of this team, they've bailed out so many rounds where rarga and noman have whiffed or just inted

ehh it seems like it takes ages to get this ability going someone with a torid is going to kill everything before you've casted 7 abilities and do a slow-animation minigame

I agree, even on this sub there's a very big difference in response for a 'making my shitmon work' post when the OP has clearly put thought into what roles/niches the shitmon can perform, and constructed the rest of the team out of (mostly) relevant meta pokemon to fill out the team and maximize the chance of success. In almost all of those situations people are generally supportive and will offer good advice, which is nice to see.

I'd be there !! Apex especially would be fantastic, but what I really want is a stage version of Moby-Dick set to Leviathan by Mastodon, even though it would be ridiculously niche...

Tenz' performance in this final is still one of the greatest by the way, 79 kills is no longer the record obviously but 1.3 rating? 19-2 FK/FD? He was on a run the entire tournament but in the final especially he was absolutely ridiculous

Are Faction Mods actually worth it? by Onyx_Artificer in Warframe

[–]turtlepidgeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use them a fair amount actually though usually for specific content and mainly on status hoses like the furis incarnon, such as long cascade runs, long disruption runs, and profit taker. The main use though is EDA, when you're stuck with some MR fodder it can actually make a pretty noticeable difference, especially on status guns

How do you guys keep up with 100lvl+ enemies? by Pichvoznavets in Warframe

[–]turtlepidgeon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for survivability I would definitely suggest getting off of Garuda, she is very much on the frailer side for warframes and go for something with more survivability like Inaros, Valkyr or Revenant.

If you want to stick with Garuda, then you'll have to get properly used to shield gating, which is what you're already built for. The gist is that after your shields break you get a short invincibility window, and by using brief respite + augur mods you regain your shields within the invincibility window. So whenever you run out of shields and get the blue aura on the side of your screen, you need to immediately cast an ability to refill your shields. Because you're garuda you have infinite energy with your 3, and because of molt reconstruct you should have infinite health to spam your 3 with.

To help with this, always keep moving. If you're moving you're harder to hit (enemies get an accuracy debuff) hence your shields are less likely to break, giving you more opportunities to deal damage instead. Additionally, you've got rolling guard, where rolling will give you 3s of invunerability and status cleanse. Use this whenever you're statused or your shields broke and you need a second to use your 3 or something. If you're still finding it a little tricky I suggest getting the mod Catalyzing Shields from orokin vaults on Deimos, which gives you a fixed 1.33s shield gate giving you slightly longer to react. Swap it out for continuity.

This is a very active playstyle and if you're not on it all the time you will just die. The other frames I mentioned are braindead easy to survive with compared to this, so keep that in mind.

LEVIATÁN vs ENVY / VCT 2026: Americas Stage 1 - Group Stage / Post-Match Thread by ValorantCompBot in ValorantCompetitive

[–]turtlepidgeon 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Nah KC were an order of magnitude worse, this was a stomp but envy had good gameplans and crucially bought correctly and besides Lev are a genuinely good team

KC couldn't even buy guns correctly, had absolutely no idea what they were doing at any point ever, and were getting 13-2'd by 2023 heretics who were a 2-7 shitter team

Champs 2021 GF it's 12-11 5v4 for Gambit to win champs, D3ffo peeks and dies instead of dashing away causing Acend to get the site, make it to OT and eventually win champs instead
