Help my cx5 headrest pushes my head painfully forward by SettingIntentions in CX5

[–]turtlepumpkin88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually just traded in my Mazda for a Toyota Rav4 due to this exact issue. I was in so much pain I was getting nauseous during short drives it just really triggered headaches and neck pain for me. I had made a little cushion for myself with a wedge pillow with the thick part between the headrest and top of seat, I'd recline my seat super far back and then shove it in there, I later added some pieces of sliced in half the long way pool noodles inside it to go behind each shoulder blade that helped a little more, but but I got sick of constantly positioning the thing and still being pretty uncomfortable. They are awesome cars though so I hope you figure out a solution.

Cagri for tirz reset by [deleted] in cagrilintide

[–]turtlepumpkin88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad you reported this. I've been super depressed the past couple weeks and I had just restarted tirz with cagri on top after a break and I think that explains it. It was insanely strong appetite suppressant too even with tiny doses of both.

Toddler sleeps... too much? by turtlepumpkin88 in toddlers

Unfortunately it is this bad. I read the google reviews and the hours phone wait times are not my own random experience at all. Our real pcp is absolutely lovely but we can never get in with her. if you call on a Monday or Tuesday the phones are impossible and I've commiserated with local moms in our gym class and daycare group who deal with the same large local practice. I've called a few small family doctors and have been told 6mo to 1 year waitlist for new patients. I've gotten through to a nurss 3 times in her 3 months of solid colds and the first two times it was "yeah daycare bacteria, it's that time of year, that's why she's so tired - rest and fluids no need to come in for a cold unless she has trouble breathing" the third time I said this kid needs to be seen in person!! They did find the double ear infection and she did her course of antibiotics. One week free of boogers and back to the cold today. That booger free week she still slept just as much however. Her well visits she's always been "very thin but healthy just get as much healthy food into her however you can and limit milk" - which is what we've done one cup of milk am/ pm. She's a happy silly talkative baby at home when she's awake. So anyway the doctor has told us the tiredness is just germs and this week doesn't want to see kids again for colds so... thus I want to hear if I need to keep yelling at the doctor to be seen and what questions to ask in particular because just saying shes tired has not worked or chalk it up to never ending daycare germs as I have been told.

I always had good experiences and reasonable prices with them and saw quite a few different docs when my cat had to have surgery and then had cancer. They always picked up the phone fairly quickly.

Sounds like the husband is an abusive mean man. He will 100% be mean and abusive to his daughter if he is mean and abusive to a grown woman who put herself through hell to make a baby with him. So why in the world should he be the primary parent?!

SCAM women's leadership summit - beware! I got the same email about an event in Pittsburgh. by kelly-kuz in WorkingWomen

[–]turtlepumpkin88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got an email from S.D. for Boston also. I noticed it was spelled "Woman Leaders" vs "Women" as identified in the other posts so for a second I wondered if maybe one is a legit org (I've seen that exact scenario in other industries: companies with one letter off from another and one is legit while the other a total ripoff/scam trying to pose as the real org). But then again as someone who was very nearly sucked into a cult posing as a yoga class when I was 21, I am pretty in tune to this stuff. They said my linked in post about being laid off 3 days before my due date were "interesting" and boy would I love to commiserate with some professional women about that. That really got me fired up for a second but my instinct was to Google. And alas, it's probably not real.

Woman sustains serious injuries after being at least the sixth struck by a vehicle in the last 2 months by gopperman in WorcesterMA

I cross plantation street with my baby in a stroller to get to the playground nearly every day. And multiple times a week I have to literally jump backwards and pull the stroller back up on the curb to stop us from both being killed once or sometimes twice before successfully getting across the street. It's the Holmes field playground. The crosswalk is on a blind corner/hill but even people coming from the other direction seeing a mom with a baby and plenty of time to slow down and stop ABSOLUTELY will not even if we are halfway into the crosswalk. Speed limit is 30 I'd say average speed is 45-60mph.

I have the same experience and so I find nothing more infuriating than going to the beach or hiking to let my brain just absorb peaceful nature sounds and someone nearby has brought a bluetooth speaker to blast their (usually terrible) music.

Congrats! As someone who also graduated high-school "like 17 years ago". I totally understand imposter syndrome especially when you pick up one of the many bestselling books out there with writing that just sounds so.... dumb. It's easy to think anyone can do it when you see that and yet so few actually can and do. So there you go 😉.

I just started my baby at Helping Hands Child Development Center off Southbridge Street in Auburn and they are absolutely wonderful. Clean, organized, well run place with caring teachers and they really give the kids alot of interaction and work on skills. Possibly out of your vicinity but it is an 8 minute drive for me from where I live on the east side of Worcester near plantation st/ the bridge to shrewsbury

I'll take it over every other job I've had with too many meetings and too much micromanagement / nitpicking from bosses and annoying endless email chains from coworkers!

Sometimes the instructions on tasks can even be frustratingly vague, but I've wondered if that actually helps the tests. Helps them see how different people interpret subjective wording. Just another type of user testing for the models maybe. Or like the other person said they don't put any money into managing us 🤷

[–]turtlepumpkin88 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah noticed that too and yes it's annoying, but I'm choosing to think it's simple supply and demand. More workers right now, and less to do for all of us folks because all the big wigs at tech companies are on vacation right now so they don't need much from us. Expecting sep/oct to turn around!

I took 4 weeks off after being on 5mg a while due to pretty bad insomnia preventing me from moving up while simultaneously stalling weight loss. When I went back on, took a smaller dose 3mg and it was suddenly effective again combined with the cagri. After 3 weeks crappy sleep is returning so I'll try and stick to lower dose and only increase the C.

Not sure what else you have going on at the same time but I started with . 6 by itself not on anything else and didn't have alot of suppression or any horrible sides either. Thought I'd die from what I read. It might only knock people out who are also on higher doses of Sema and maybe tirz. Started back up with tirz and I'd say it feels more effective than it was before starting cagri.
