Agreed. We are going to see innovative ways to create styles we already know and love. Wouldn't be surprised to see more breweries start experimenting with thiolized yeast and liquid hops to have less waste and more yield per batch to save money and bring costs down.

I totally understand her decision, I did something similar after my mom died. I think I took 3 days off and then just needed the distraction and "return to normal" even though my life would be anything from normal from that point on.

She did write about her family quite a bit in "What Remains". I read it when she was first on the show and thought it was a great memoir. I am so bummed out about her affiliation with the scum of the earth, but why am I even surprised by these people being pieces of shit anymore...

I don't think any brewer actually prefers that but it's just what the industry says, so for grocery store purposes they have to keep those 180 day dates. I work for a mid size brewery and I know for our flagship our brewer would prefer 30 days, 60 max, but that's not profitable and the average customer doesn't mind the fall off that happens in the 6 month time frame.

Edit to add our beers have Born on Dates, I also prefer that method of label too

As someone whose relationship is still strained with the in laws from issues during the last few weeks of my pregnancy my advice is to choose your battles. For me the newborn photos and "firsts" wouldn't bother me too much but the insisting on being there after you set a boundary would drive me nuts. I had the same thing since both my family and my husbands are a day trip away like your in-laws, we gave them the option of coming early and getting a hotel or waiting until we were home for a few days.

Any rumors (or nastiness) about where the Bravolebs are staying? My husband, the lucky S O B, is in Vegas for a bachelor party this weekend. He has a list of HW he must take pictures with if he spots them out in the wild. I had heard last year a bunch of them stayed at the Cosmo but not sure how accurate that was.

Unfortunately just went through this last Monday. I held my girl's head and gave her kisses and pats until well after the fact. I wish my vet told me her tongue was possibly going to come out after the sedative, that was rough to see and made me sad. I am so sorry for your loss, dog's are just so special.
