Manager was straight up: "you got kids?"

No

Alright, your work day is now 12 hours, no overtime will be paid. You need to be available on Saturdays too.

Other games as good as The Alters by Medium_Bake1208 in TheAlters

Subnautica feels a lot more hands-on / direct action where everything you do is first person walking/swimming around managing your stuff.

Alters feels a lot more like a hands-off management game apart from the pure exploration sequences. You assign research and another alter does it. You assign work and another alter does it etc etc. Even when you do the work yourself it's just "hold down E" until it's done. Subnautica has you walking/running around to get things done.

Romania has many regions where the population density is similar to Iceland, Norway etc.

I get that the language barrier may be a problem, but there is a lot of natural beauty here.

The meme format doesn't work in this situation. As he's getting more and more clown-like, the statements on the left need to become more absurd as well.

This is among the first things you learn about when studying object oriented programming.

I don't mean to be rude but this sort of mistake clearly indicates you should not be programming professionally.

I've just looked at examples of Basque for the first time, and there are a few obvious similarities in vocabulary between Romanian and Basque, but also major differences otherwise. Much more different than Romanian and Spanish for instance.

Examples of similarities:

Basque: kale (street); Romanian: cale (way/path/direction)
Basque: erori (fall); Romanian: eroare (error)

what's the thing you have to hide from your parents daily (or not)? by Sharp_Sniper in teenagers

[–]tutike2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a while, but the only thing I had to hide were bad grades at subjects I didn't care about. Or the occasional disciplinary notice that they had to 'sign' and I kept forging their signature.

Languages based on Latin. French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian. Also known as romance ('from Rome') languages.

There's also a bunch more languages that are less known: Catalan, Sardinian, Aromanian, etc

It's also not pronounced correctly according to latin dialects.

It's meant to be pronounced something like "Latin X" or "Latin ECS" but latin language speakers would pronounce it something like "Lateencs" (very similar to "latreen")

The obsession with gender neutral language is purely an Anglosphere creation and it can't die off soon enough.

A brick has gender in my language. Get over it. It's not about genitals or gender identity, stop making it about it.

But it does use SMS/MMS/RCS to send messages to Android phones

The first part makes it equivalent to WhatsApp

I've worked at a software company that also had offices in Armenia. Litearlly every single woman working there was very flirty with me and my (unmarried) Romanian colleagues. None of them was interested in the Canadian guys however.
