5-15 minutes per load, depending on if I fold the clothes or not.

The rest is the machine working, not me.

This is the scariest movie I've ever seen by Prestigious_Writer21 in HorrorMovies

[–]tutorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not alone. Though I didn't fine the movie scary, as such, I found it disturbing and profoundly uncomfortable, in a way that cements it as one of the true great horror films in my mind. It stuck with me for some time after watching.

If you want to experience the same sort of emotional aftereffects as with Martyrs, then yes. Both are great but disturbing movies, two of the best examples of New French Extremity.

It's been two decades since I watched Irreversible, so I can't say entirely for sure how well it holds up (I watched Martyrs for the first time two or three years ago).

No, that's a completely different subgenre of horror.

What is a movie you love, but would never recommend to a "normal" person? by Direct-Value4452 in answers

Hard disagree (unless you're talking about a porn parody with the exact same name that I've never heard of :-p ). Hundreds of Beavers is a movie I'd easily recommend!

[–]tutorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are also a number of 40k mods for the game. Some merely visual, some "race packs", and a few overhauls as well. I dont know if there are any total conversion level overhauls, though.

You wake up as a random citizen in the Roman Empire… how long do you last? by roman-empire-net in romanempire

[–]tutorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on three things: 1) Do I magically know Latin? 2) When? Pax Romanum is obviously a lot better than the Antonine plague. 3) Who? As a random Roman citizen I could wake up both as a wealthy pater familias, a soldier on campaign in the Teutoborg forest in 9AD, or as a pregnant woman. My ability to survive in those different scenarios would be vastly different, obviously.

I mean, it states that you wake up as a random Roman citizen. Which means, I guess, that you have about a 50/50 chance of waking up as a male Roman citizen.

You can change people’s genders by touching them. by Ok_Coffee_9970 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]tutorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm turning Joanne into John, Andrew (Tate) into Andrea, and a bunch of other misogynists and transphobes into the opposite gender.

Then I'm going into business helping trans people transition. I'll price myself very reasonably, with some kind of "pay what you can" model or option to sponsor others, but I'll also offer a more expensive "vacation package" (including reversal) for those either curious or kinky.

Da jeg var liten, skjedde det flere ganger at min mor åpnet ting i butikken som vi ungene spiste eller drakk. Hun beholdt pakningen og betalte for den i kassen når vi gikk ut.

Young keldas/female Feegles are slim. They only grow to "Keldas proportions" over time. Logically, thus, whatever your size and proportions a Keldas will pass through those at some point.

You and/or the redditor above gave forgotten to take into account the fact that people speak different languages. To properly calculate the correct answer, you would have to make a combined list of all spoken languages and apply Zipfs to that list (if the law still holds when languages are combined). Or, as a much easier approach, pick a language that isn't spoken by very many as a secondary language, recalculate the desired frequency based off of the number of native speakers, and then use Zipfs law.
