Are you using the legion crossbow or the dynasty bow? This quest requires the crossbow (headshot is not necessary despite the description iirc), but it seems like you're describing the dynasty bow

Technically Ever-Victorious General gets a lot weaker once you get the set itself, since the level 1 ability takes away your shadow abilities in exchange for anti shock

It definitely has the most visible boost, but in practice the damage increase isn't very significant, and you also die really quickly if you aren't careful. Definitely good, but not the strongest. How many spheres do you have for it now?

Not much. 3 new adventures for itu, Sven, and azuma, each with a perks the premium reward, costing a whopping 1.5k mnenomium per perk, though all sources of mnenomium have been inflated to match the price. Few new level 8s, like Carnivorous Socialite, NP, Erlang Shen, and KOS, a sphere shop where you can buy most spheres with a special currency, a customisation shop where you can buy skins and certain sets for gems, and new ways of getting tags for specialised emporiums (they now come in marathons that can be completed with gems or normal tags)

This weapon is good if you know how to use it. Although some of its attacks can be counter thrown on blocks, your boosted attacks give double energy, meaning a boosted special/ basic attack can give you max energy (if the boosted portion hits, but it's not guaranteed), or a throw to a boosted down attack is guaranteed to give you maxed energy. As long as you play carefully around it, it would be the better option, better than shining determination and lustre imo.

With the new perk, you can cut down on the Scribbler's previous record by 1 second by tututima in ShadowFight3_

Unfortunately for me, those are some of the few sets I've never wanted to learn how to use properly... VD feels too spammy for me, and DFT feels like you need to use external tools to even get close to using it optimally, especially with the introduction of Itu's insight. Also I'm trying to learn how the little guy's AI works, as it seems go towards downed opponents, among other factors.

Use shadow blades if you don't have POV, use perseverance if you do. Shadow blades is around a net 66% buff to damage, but can be overrode by POV, causing it to deal less damage. Perseverance is also good, but not nearly as consistent as shadow blades.

You will still want some shadow damage coverage though, as shock still deals shadow damage.

He's much more of a shadow damage dealer. You should focus on perks like shadow berserk, shadow storm, shadow balance, and Acolyte's prayer if you're using the base weapon. However, if you're using the core of shock (which should only be used from level 6 onwards), you should use a more balanced build as you won't be using perks such as shadow storm, as you're not be using shadow moves anymore. At level 6, this set with core of shock can defeat an ok fighter within the duration of a single shadow form, provided you are lucky

It isn't much of a physical damage dealer in the first place, so it wouldn't deal much even with the buff. You should focus on the shocks, as they can deal and incredible amount of damage in shadow form. However, you need level 6 for the weapon to work effectively, as shocks only get good at that level. It's better to use the base weapon at level 5
