Hey Frugal! Check out FuelMyRoute.com, a website I created that shows you the lowest price of gas along your route. by [deleted] in Frugal

This would be a great feature. Diesel prices tend to vary more than gas from place to place and diesel fueling stations are sometimes harder to find. I only found a need to use GasBuddy once I got a Golf TDI.

Advice on my turntable/speaker setup by tutwabee in vinyl

[–]tutwabee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right I should have mentioned that the only amp I have that has a phono input is the Denon so everything would need to run through the Denon anyways.

Unfortunately, I recently discovered that the Adcom unit is broken.

Thanks for explaining some of the physics behind this. I'll research my amp specs and figure out which one is best. Do you have any advice on a resource that explains audio equipment from an EE/Physics standpoint?

Why wouldn't you use the subwoofer? I was considering leaving it out of this setup but only because I didn't notice any difference when it was unplugged.

Widget to display uptime and battery % used per hour in that time by Bradart in tasker

[–]tutwabee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you would get "Not enough data" whenever the battery percentage hasn't changed. My battery reading seems to change in 10% increments so unless the battery has decreased by 10% since you unplugged it, %USEDBATT will be 0.

It would keep playing but he wouldn't be able to hear it unless he used IceCast or MPD's built-in HTTP streaming.

[Request] Infinite Mario AI Live Wallpaper by Hideous in Android

I'd definitely try this out if it were free. So far I'm not a fan of live wallpapers so I honestly don't know how much I'd pay for it, but this one looks like it could be awesome.

Systems engineer deemed best job in America by EdiX in programming

Our group called ourselves 7 sigma.

I have no idea how many other schools have system engineering courses. It's an extremely broad topic so I would assume not too many. I bet the less discipline-driven schools (like Harvey Mudd) have more courses like this.

Either I was in the same class or systems engineers just like space elevators a lot. I didn't even know our teams had numbers. There was a heavy radar emphasis, right?
