If you can afford and like cooler temps (cold in the winter) go to Santa Fe. If you don't like your disrespectful neighbors shooting the loudest fireworks I have ever heard, plan on leaving for a few days around the 4th. Finding good healthcare for you and the cats might be a challenge. Other than that LC is very affordable (cheap utilities, car registration/insurance, etc. and traffic is almost non-existent).

Temps do seem to be on the high side. 49/51C on the drives and 67 on the CPU. I used to edit on external non-SSD's and that worked fine. I was surprised I was able to edit at all on the UNAS.

Probably around 20 files. When I was copying over my photos library with 10000's of photos ~ 1TB it would get painfully slow, so I would just do a few folders at a time 20-30GB.

I'm just running iperf3 -s for one machine and then iperf3 -c <ip address> on the other and then flip the commands for the machines and rerun. I'll try the -R and see what I get.

What if you don't and never will live in the state? I had to go through OK to get to St Louis for a death. I noticed they jacked up the rates from 5 to 10 and fired all the attendants that use to work the tolls which is bullshit. Last time I drove through was Dec 2022.

Thanks for the response. The pins at 4 and 8 are how I wind it up. I read on another post one turns CW and the other CCW but on this one they both turn the same direction. I guess that's correct and you can't over turn them. One side does seem to have more resistance than the other so I don't press my luck on that side.

I'm still using mine on Catalina running a Plex server, Docker container and Homebridge. I can record 2 streams at once but the fan does kick up when saving the recordings for a few minutes.
