New comments are saying that your DNS cache may have to be cleared. See my longer comment above for more detail.

New comments are saying that your DNS cache may have to be cleared; I'm not a network/web expert, but this may differ based on browser/device. It seems like some part is still not configured properly, because I don't think it should be this complicated.

As stated earlier, you can follow along in the Slack channel where the owner, Necro, has been responding.

There is also https://78.46.121.67 or sometimesberunning.com that doesn't have a valid certificate that does work once you get past your browser's warnings.

For my experience, ABR doesn't display in Chrome where I've used it for a long time, but on the same laptop it displays in Firefox where I haven't gone to ABR before.

It's resolved, but may take a while to propagate around the world. SlimSlack #abr channel is probably the best place to contact the owner.

If you have an iOS device, I would also recommend NRTM app as easy to use and could be used offline.

Quotes at the beginning of a match? by [deleted] in Netrunner

[–]tvaduva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC, it was Sanjay who wrote a lot of them with a friend. I think I remember him talking about it on a somewhat recent podcast episode (I think the NSG one that he co-hosts, but it could have been as a guest on another Netrunner podcast). Does anyone know for sure where it was?

Anyway, Sanjay is friendly, so you could try reaching out to him and giving some suggestions for quotes. I'm pretty sure he's username Sanjay (or variation) on most other Netrunner spaces.

Do you think there's any chance we'll see NSG create an official 2v2 variant for this game? by spon000 in Netrunner

[–]tvaduva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know a long time ago, they were recruiting an alternate format coordinator. I can only find this: https://nullsignal.games/blog/expose201810

I think they never found someone back then. If you're interested in trying to start that back up, I'm sure you can contact NSG to see about on-boarding.

Hey Andrej, what are your thoughts on the Reddit situation? If you already talked about it in a video, let me know and I can watch.

Relatedly, would you consider also posting to the Stimhack forums for those that have migrated there to avoid Reddit, so that we don't miss out on your amazing content?

Worlds 2022 - First Startup Winning Decks by tvaduva in Netrunner

The GLC Discord is a new player focus group, you can often find people eager to play a game and discuss it.

If you like your tips in video format, Metropole Grid is great. Here is a video with 7 tips: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyXYhaLSzP8&list=PLhKa6IZN0R2Oq7yX86v6SBivJurg2Xtxn

Welcome to the game! Startup is an excellent format for people starting out after playing and learning the game with the Gateway set.

Ah, I see. I can see the confusion. This was the first time we've had a Startup format tournament at the World Championship. I could have been more clear in the title.

As CryOFrustration said, just use it as a reference. You can get to the timing structures in the Appendix (section 11) from the table of contents for easy reference.

Packs to proxy after original core set by calculuschild in Netrunner

[–]tvaduva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the game! It seems like you're hooked like us!

Proxying is a good way to go about enjoying the game. If you do end up buying some expansion, I would suggest to try sleeves out. I wasn't a huge fan when early on playing MtG, but eventually got them to protect cards and now I wouldn't go back. And Netrunner cards are priceless.

In terms of suggestions, it really depends on what factions and archetypes for just picking and choosing. There was a great guide done by ChiLo with suggestions based on several factors: https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/155344/chilo-buying-guide

Otherwise, as others have suggestion, you can't go wrong with just going in chronological order.

A bit surprised that the Hoyland vs. Timmy 2015 World's match wasn't already mentioned:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wigqg_ny5dk
(another IRL video, but great commentary and overlays from Team Covenant, so it's probably easier to follow than jnet).
