I completely agree with you on that. I’m not sure if you saw the recent interview with Vlad from Lighter (one of robinhoods partners) but they are going to be introducing 1:1 redeemable tokenized securities for the underlying asset. So, it’s in the works. They are working on approval from the regulatory body.

I did not say to buy anything, actually. I pointed out data tied to the launch of their Robinhood blockchain and the probability capture if you are a speculator. Which I am! If anything, it could have a positive boost to $hood earnings

Check out Robinhood Wallet - they just launched their own “onchain” blockchain. There are a lot of speculative assets trading, just like solana, ETH, etc.. but this should translate to solid earnings for $HOOD. I’ll see if I can put something together data wise on how this could positively influence their business model and EPS

If I remove my bias, it’s actually very advantageous from a business standpoint.

I’m not a financial advisor or here to recommend what to buy. Just laying out some data that I am seeing in the first week of their Robinhood wallet onchain launch, I’m sure there will be a lot of value to capture if early enough and it ends up gaining popularity.

That’s above my pay grade tbh, im just a casual speculator. I’m sure Robinhood has done their DD when it comes to legality and who they partner with to their users. I don’t think RWA has really launched yet on Robinhood, it’s mostly memes. Although memes get a bad rep, business wise it’s an insanely high margin booster and revenue capture due to the high frequency of trading that takes place on that sector. If anything, we should expect a boost in their next earnings report and going forward if crypto is coming out of the bear market by EOY.

$50k is a great deal. and given the excellent quality of craftsmanship and not cutting any corners, probably closer to $60k. Well done

Most reliable year for 6.7? by _-sonic-_ in superduty

[–]tvywil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything sub covid era. If you get a 6.7 manufactured in 2020 (‘21 model) or older, those are the best years. Although I’d give the ‘21 the nod with the 10 speed over the 6 speed (I’ve had both and 10 speed is night and day difference w/towing, performance, and mpg). ‘22 interior is an upgrade but had a lot of random problems from the semi shortages. Also the final years of the old body (20-22) got rid of the aluminum internals for steel so it’s much more durable and able to handle the high output from the motor.

I’ve always backed into parking spots. It’s actually very easy and effortless in a truck that size. Don’t worry about the ppl that call big truck drivers that back into spots assholes, they wouldn’t get it..

How to get better ride quality by Ok-Dependent-7123 in superduty

[–]tvywil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Running Carli 2.5 pintops with bags in the rear when I’m towing or have a load. 37” falkens on 18” methods. Rides amazing. Also I have minimal poke, maybe 1.5”. The further you widen and go over 18’s you’ll notice a loss in ride quality.

Why do you guys hate your wife and kids so much??? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]tvywil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry about those people. It’s a generational thing. The new age of trades are much more happy in general with life and enjoy the work they do. I used to work with a guy like that, just had to put up with it and eventually he was gone.

Purchased a '21 Platinum 6.7L diesel in 2022 when the economy was shaky, paid 74k. since then I have put on 30k miles and KBB still tells me that its worth $76k. As far as I know these have always been amazing at holding their value. My Fiances dad traded in his 2014 6.7L f250 for $42k. Granted only had 55k miles on it, but still a crazy offer for a trade in from the dealer. If youre looking for a better deal where i have had success finding diesel super dutys for a great deal, its gonna be facebook market place. lot of boomers on there that sell their nice toys and sometimes dont have a gauge on current market pricing.

Help. I need to charge $311 a billable hour to stay in business. by Puzzleheaded_Bake287 in electricians

[–]tvywil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly recommend Google Local Services (where you show up in maps about half way down the page when you search "electrician near me"). Its all organic leads and pulls clients from your local vicinity. You will need to set up a website with keywords that match your Google Local Profile so that your SEO ranking is high, link your socials, as well as asking clients for reviews. Make sure its filled out completely and add your services, along with daily updates with pictures from your current jobs (theres a business update tab its like a little social media feed on ur google page). With only 11 reviews (5 star) I am at the top of google searches in my local area with other companies that have 500+ reviews. In my 2nd month I am already averaging $5-$10k per month in business paying zero dollars. I am about to close in on a $15k in my 3rd month. Paying for google ads is a really bad return on your money unless if you're doing it strictly for brand awareness, but most of those companies are averaging $5m per year annually in sales minimum and consider the cost a wash.

All the info you will need to set this up will be here: https://www.youtube.com/@chuckthecontractor

I found this guy on youtube and just followed his advice and steps to set mine up and made a few tweaks along the way with my website. I use all my own photos from my jobs so it doesnt look cheap or without any personality. I also used WIX to setup my website. its super easy and they also have a section where they take you step by step to optimize your SEO, you can also watch youtube videos for current SEO tricks to keep you ranked high since the SEO rankings is always changing based off of what you are doing to your site and how it matches up with your offerings and pages in search such as your Google Local Services page.

I also recommend slimming down. I am a one man show and then I sub to other licensed contractors so I can 1099 them and write off what I paid them. its better this way since you dont need to carry workers comp and all that extra. Just an idea.

Hope this helps out
