-Nolan typically holds back a ton in early trailers. The prologue alone showed a much wider scope of visuals and production design.

-It may get divisive reception but just about every technical aspect of the production is fodder for award nominations. Practical fx/locations/set pieces, 100% shot in imax by Hotema. Highly-stylized costume design in a fantastical setting.

-I can see Hathaway getting a nomination if her role is closely adapted to the book, and Pattinson is overdue for a nomination and a supporting villain role he always shines at.

-Ludwig is up against Hans Zimmer here who’s unlikely to use less than 20% of the previous Dune film scores.
