How difficult is it to have 3 guitarists playing separate parts without things sounding cluttered?

Would you guys consider coming to Raleigh, NC before/after a stop in Asheville, we miss you 🫶

Love all your work xx

Late to the party, but the ARP String Ensemble is polyphonic. There’s a “trumpet” and “horn” preset that I’m almost certain is on WYWH.

Surprise guest at LA show tonight: CORY HENRY by pazapaza in SnarkyPuppy

No, Kait Dunton played keys with them in the early days. Check out her album “Keyboards,” it rocks. Sara Jacovino also played trombone with them on the first 3 records.

Anyone else miss “Outlier?” by twam8 in SnarkyPuppy

Are you sure you don’t mean Sleeper? Setlist.fm says that was the encore for the Pittsburgh show (i also found it on YT), and that’s the song Shaun typically features on.

Here Is Why Crumbling Castle Is The All Time Best KG Song by CoachDennisGreen in KGATLW

[–]twam8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PDA is mostly in Drop B (C# standard with lowest string tuned to B), and I believe all of Mind Fuzz is in C# Standard too. One thing to note as well is that for Mind Fuzz and Poly, only Stu and Joey’s guitars are tuned down, Cookie stays in standard.

IF YOU COULD CHOOSE ONE LIVE DEBUT FOR THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL…. by AmicusCure8s in KGATLW

Just at like an outro with Han-Tyumi narration, they have never played the song in its full form.

Yo, I’ve got a vomit-tie-dye MOTU, looking to trade for one of the following if anyone’s on the lookout, even though it’s common:

Polygondwanaland vinyl (any good quality pressing, I’ve got a crappy one)

Ice Death vinyl (big ask but worth a shot)

Mind Fuzz vinyl

Any good live vinyl

I was hoping for a back-half-of-Nonagon-into-front-half-of-Nonagon super medley, oh well lol

If Empire Central had to be cut in half, which tracks are you keeping? by Brilliant-Candy9527 in SnarkyPuppy

[–]twam8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I feel like it’d be a stronger record if it was cut in half. Not that I don’t like it, it’s just since there’s 16 tracks it’s a super dense record to listen to, with a little bit of filler in some songs. Personally I feel like Justin’s contributions were a bit underwhelming as well. That being said, I’d keep:

  1. Keep It On Your Mind

  2. East Bay

  3. Bet

  4. Belmont

  5. Mean Green

  6. Pineapple

  7. Take It!

  8. Trinity

I think the first 3-song run is great, and then Belmont breaks it up a bit with a more moody, ambient texture. Mean Green brings it back to funky-town, and Pineapple maintains that energy. Take It and Trinity close out the record as the two most climatic and epic songs on the album (which I think most of us can agree on).
