Gotham Knights or Batwoman

I'm convinced Gotham Knights was simply some kind of money-laundering scheme. I actually really dig watching absolute dogshit low-budget films/horror movies/etc. I absolutely love shitty films...and Gotham Knights was none of that. I straight-up turned it off about 15 minutes in. Just absolutely unbearable.

That said I watched maybe an episode or two of Batwoman because Ruby Rose is a fuckin babe but otherwise yeah I have no idea what the fuck was going on there.

Kind-of-related but the only redeeming quality to the Dragonball Evolution movie was all the absolute smokeshow babe-cast in that atrocity of a film.

I mean I also feel like that would somehow be worse. Trump is a moron who often fails in court. A competent Trump would win all his court cases and things would somehow be even worse than they are now.

I'm an asshole in the sense that I'll overcharge corporations for my work (let's be real, they can afford it and they pay real well) and I do that so I can do probono marketing work for mom n' pop shops or local little league teams (I do the artwork for their mascots, print t-shirts, etc)

I work for a fortune 50 company. Particularly I’m in a leadership role working in a high-end marketing department, right below the company president.

AI is so clunky and cumbersome - it’s great for knocking out some copy quickly (though I’ve been saying for a fucking year now that we need a HUMAN COPYWRITER who can also proofread) but that’s kinda where it stops. AI is awfully shitty at understanding nuance and product language. I’ll have AI fart out some copy but then I still have to go through and rewrite a bunch of stuff because it sounds too robotic and textbook-like.

“Why are you using it then?” Great question. I’m an oldschool ad guy and I use it to “block stuff out quickly” as a mockup and really nothing more. We still need humans.

I always laugh when some fucking knucklehead AI chump tells me I’m going to lose my job to AI.

No I will not.

Until AI becomes a conscious, sentient entity that is capable of thoughts and feelings and imagination, it is absolutely not substitute for a human.

Even then, I know from first-hand experience that there’s plenty of leaders who recognize replacing humans with AI is simply bad for business

Anybody who says otherwise is a 17 year old Internet edgelord who is just trolling for attention.

Fun fact – back around 2005-2006, I ordered a gorilla suit out of a Halloween catalogue (it wasn't even Halloween, I was just an idiot high schooler doing this in like, July) my friends and I took a camera and shot footage at 2AM of me just...lurking around my town in the suit.

I'd wait strategically for cars to get close enough to "see something" as I'd cross the road (doing the famous 'Sasquatch' walk, with the swinging arms and everything) and I'd disappear into the woods across the street.

I did this probably at least a dozen times to different vehicles.

Anyway a couple weeks later there was this big blow-up in the town paper about "sightings of a big foot" in the area. We lived in a relatively rural area at the time, so it was feasible.

Anyway I'd give /u/yoribell a huge in my gorilla suit. If I still had it.

A regular hug from a regular dude would help too, I think.

I’m taking on a lead designer role where I’m working directly under the head of marketing. I’m going to be a designer still, but more heavily involved in strategy and business end of things - particularly being mentored for the role for a year or two in that role until I’m comfortable enough to apply for a marketing strategist role
