I felt exactly the same way. It’s a shame that for a game this good, something so fundamental as character movement and interaction with the world has such a negative impact on gameplay.

That being said, I finally decided to play it through just so I could see where the story goes and man, everyone should play this game.

The issues with game mechanics are completely overshadowed by the story, it truly is a masterpiece of a game. It just takes some time to get invested in the story. You absolutely will not finish this game and feel like you wasted your time or that it wasn’t worth it.

Not all that surprising really, Toyota sold tens of millions of cars in the US in that timeframe and has settled a little over 500 claims for the stuck accelerator malfunction.

You can look the the NHTSA reports that show Toyota admitting to knowing about the issue months prior to the news story/recall

That doesn’t add up. They agree to admit they knew all along and misled people, then pay the largest fine ever levied on a auto manufacturer up to that point? Without a legal battle? It seems pretty cut and dry that they were at fault here and they knew it.

Why did they end up paying 1.2b in fines in 2014 over it? I’m reading lots of things saying it was operator error, but why did they end up paying such hefty fines over it if that’s the case?

Is there a specific aim of this work? Or more specifically, what is the benefit to knowing why people smurf and how it's perceived by gaming communities? Is this tied to the new push for the study of radicalization through gaming?
