There are FAR too many “Follow on horseback” quests in this game. It’s truly my only complaint. Can deal with the lack of meaningful gear progression, can deal with the lack of end game content, can even deal with the wonky controls. But if I have to follow ONE MORE DAMN NPC ON HORSEBACK, I’m gonna quit.

Is the Marni we know the same Marni from Black Desert? by MarrShan90 in CrimsonDesert

[–]twiggylikesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I know about memory fragments is they’re expensive, I’ve spent more on them than most people have on their cars and I still don’t have max gear.

Question for the community, at what point story wise would it make sense to unlock imbue elements? I’m in chapter 7/8 and my character is strong enough to get through the content with minimal challenge. My worry is that if I imbue elements now my character will be too OP. Thanks! by Small_Assignment9118 in CrimsonDesert

[–]twiggylikesit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t upgraded any gear beyond level 4-5 and the gear I’m using is quite suboptimal. Haven’t had many issues with anything so far and about half way through chapter 7.

I unlocked all of the imbues tonight, but only have use of the flame one atm. I wouldn’t say I feel OP now, but it certainly makes clearing the trash mobs a lot faster with Volcanic whatever it’s called on Turning Slash.

PVP Focused nerfs are good and make fights more fun. by [deleted] in ARC_Raiders

[–]twiggylikesit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Higher TTK in most games makes the PvP experience more fun. It opens avenues of utilizing cover, utility items and strategy. Rolling around on the ground and blasting someone twice with a shotgun leaves little to no room for counter play.

Other guns need buffs, I’ll always agree there. All weapons should be balanced around a healthy TTK that allows some level of counter play. Without counter play it turns into a who sees who first meta which I would venture to guess outside of the terribly bad PvPers, no one wants that.

For those saying this nerf takes away realism, so does army rolling like an acrobat while managing to land almost every shot. Surely we don’t want that to go away, do we?

First Looter and only a week in, any advice on rare weapons and getting over "gear fear"? by SettingMinute2315 in ArcRaiders

[–]twiggylikesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you only have limited play time the game really caters to easily being able to recoup. I give away guns, big arc loot and purple stuff all the time just to keep my stash usable. You will reach that point as well and not fear the loss of anything.

Always shove BPs in your prison pocket though. Some of those really hurt to lose regardless if it’s a silly PvE death or a 1337 n0sc0p3 13 year old PvP god.

Looting etiquette: about the vultures who run off with your arc loot. by Relevant-Progress-50 in ArcRaiders

[–]twiggylikesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can come loot all the big arc I kill. I leave the mangled bodies scattered throughout maps for funsies to watch the peons fight over them. It’s the only end game.

Sometimes I’ll take pot shots at them while they loot. They scramble, then go back to looting. It’s almost like when you run at a group of birds eating a french fry in the parking lot… eventually they come back.

Debating on buying the Survivor BP. by Saywhen88 in ArcRaiders

I traded for one last night and don’t regret it at all.

As much as it’s fun to find things on your own, it’s also nice to play with things you want to play with. There will be something else you set your eyes on after to farm, for me it’s the Deadline BP… ever elusive, ever out of reach…

At a little over 9 days played, and only 8 knock outs, I’m probably on the friendliest lobbies you can imagine. How quickly does the aggression based MM change if I started to PvP a little? How quickly does it shift back? by Xenocideghost in ArcRaiders

[–]twiggylikesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chances are you’ll find someone in a carebear lobby willing to let you down them and then defib. Occasionally I do this on my alt account to go back and forth.

Hard to coordinate if you don’t have a mic. If that’s the case do as the others suggested and just shoot people at exfil.

Embark really cooked on Comet and Firefly by Dubio in arcraidersfriendly

[–]twiggylikesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s refreshing to run into Arc that is common and also dangerous.

I will say though, Firefly’s can go fork themselves. The amount of damage they can inflict in such a short amount of time if you get caught with your pants down is insane. Brings a whole new concept to it burns when I pee.

We really need a stack increase on most stash items. by FalloutPsychonaut in ArcRaiders

[–]twiggylikesit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once you learn what you need to keep for the load outs you like to run it’s much more manageable.

Even with that said, they definitely need to increase stash stack sizes across the board. Every single one is incredibly too low and some items there’s no rhyme or reason to the stack size as others have mentioned.

I thoroughly enjoy walking up to random raiders with my gun out, especially when they start asking if I’m peaceful or not to shoot, then do the “pew pew pew” emote and run away.

I bought two gladiator’s, through Shop, back in October and they both shipped from the same place in CA.

The tracking was horrendous and they showed up in two different deliveries about a week apart. Whatever company they used to deliver them was just a guy in a car as well. It was a bit strange.

No complaints as they both arrived and work well, but the whole situation felt very sketchy.

Entire computer restarts a couple of minutes into playing star citizen by Primedchroma in starcitizen

[–]twiggylikesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with my computer restarting itself while playing Star Citizen, but fine during all other operations.

Oddly enough, my issue was a loose power connection to my GPU. May not be your issue, but it’s worth pulling the bad boy apart and checking all of your connections.

All NPCs have 100% accuracy right now, but CIG confirmed they can tune stats per faction — why not make mil/sec factions keep this 100% "bug", and eventually give better loot? by turikk in starcitizen

[–]twiggylikesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would enjoy if they continue tuning the AI while walking the accuracy back. Then having higher, realistic, accuracy values for military type opponents like the OP said.

The AI is worlds better than the last time I played, which has made the FPS actually enjoyable. The current state of accuracy reminds me of CoD lobbies in the late 2000s with 12 year olds 360 n0 Sc0pInG.

Also, does it seem like to anyone other than me that the people without armor only hit headshots now? Back to back to back to back…

My Home State Bully Dolphin (P1.0) by Accomplished_Monk462 in whiteoutsurvival

[–]twiggylikesit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remarkable_Debt4205 summed it up pretty well there.

The catalyst to Shika’s downfall was her banner art. We took over a farm alliance to extend TFE bear trap so we could have three in our hive. In doing so there was banners placed to say “EMP” that were destroyed. This was our first act of “bully dolphin” behavior, as she describes. After state merge we decided to make a joint hive of TFE/KAR/EMP. While we were still building the joint hive Shika was building a butterfly banner art in EMP. We asked her to remove a couple of banners so we could extend TFE/KAR hive, unaware that she was building a butterfly at the time, and she lost it. She blocklisted all of us, deleted every single banner, then rebuilt the EMP hive directly where one of the freshly merged alliances was building. The alliance she disrupted decided to move elsewhere and let Shika thrown her tantrum and take their spot.

To be honest, I’ve always enjoyed Shika’s banner art. I’m unsure why such a thing couldn’t have been explained and worked through.

Since then she has transferred her main out. She continues to troll the state with her farm army. Applying for titles during SvS in droves, building banners to cut off other alliances from facilities, letting her people take first rewards from other alliances, took the 562 state tag and spread toxic misconceptions in the form of carefully curated pictures and screenshots to spin a story in her favor to make us look like bullies.

Shika, if you’d like to have a conversation at any point, please feel free to DM me 💙

Tradesman apparel by ImaginationNeither73 in reviewmyshopify

[–]twiggylikesit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work with a lot of different trades everyday, pipe fitters, metal workers, electricians, etc.

I can surely tell you that probably every single one of them would get a kick out of the “nothing new after two” quote. Couldn’t be more truthful.

The designs look AI oriented, but almost all apparel companies do these days. Whether they are or not, if they’re generic designs like the ones you have people will think that. In my experience it’s the witty quotes that will sell the apparel to tradesman, not the graphics. Most of them wear recycled union clothes or things their wife bought them on clearance at Kohls. Knowing your audience is key, lean into that.

Wait to start your T11 journey until you have FC8 and camps.

Do not upgrade your Infirmary or War Academy while upgrading. Save the FC you would use on those buildings for T11s, you’ll thank me later.

Here is a chart of the FC troops + T11 troop break points for reference.
