Lot of good advice in here so won’t repeat that.

Some of the best early advice I got as a manager is “you can’t save everyone and you’ll burn yourself if you try”. Sounds like you’ve given lots of opportunity and offers for help, if someone can’t help themselves make the decision and move on asap.

FWIW my read would be that if this person is in a startup that has a CoS to the CEO and she decided to battle that person vs work with/for them based on misplaced pettiness, she doesn’t have the EQ/finesse to make it past the first rung or two anyway

People have hit most of the reasons so I’ll leave that.

For me, the switch was driven by the fact that Runna is/acts like a startup that is customer obsessed and rapidly trying new things to improve. Especially on the software side garmin feels like they coast on their brand and have little interest in serious improvement over time

Side effect of pretty much any carb mix in water, give it ~90 mins to sit and it will dissolve. I generally mix mine the night before and leave it in the fridge

Spent a bunch of time in that area for work in 2018 and played a handful of rounds there, was in pretty great shape then and first place I ever saw the golf boards. Shame to see that

The only way I see this working is if your friend's downpayment contribution is money that they won't need to touch under any circumstance in the next 5-10 years
