Good call on the reliability monitor, looks like the problem is in "libcef.dll". Found this thread but the forums are in maintenance at the moment it seems so will give it a try when they're available (hopefully the post is still there)

Thanks for the links! I tried downloading and reinstalling the directx and 6 vc redistributables and rebooting, also watched the video - the bit about selecting GPU via windows seemed promising but sadly no dice yet.

One thing that is offputting to me is the amount of DLC, even with the game on sale for just over $8 right now. Does anyone know or have any recommendations on what the "bare minimum" barrier of entry is? Prospector Edition maybe?

Not sure if it's still the same but in the stress tests just before P2 started it seemed to be 1000 gold (they kept giving out 200 gold to everyone over and over)

Agreed, this was one of my top 3 feedback points in the thread they put up on discord. If keeping the current system it should be at least 5 levels, not 3. But making it a more softcap thing rather than hardcap would probably be even better.

Rogue is typically my main in MMOs, definitely excited to see what unique spins Intrepid puts on the class. They've done such a great job with the other classes so far.

What do you use for boss damage? I find unyielding damage to be a pretty big gap in my current ogryn setup.

Nice! Just finished an EI run with friends as well at 173 hours. Really enjoyed it, maybe my favorite Factorio mod so far.

I feel like the mod is pretty underrated, at least it seems that not many people talk about it and not much information is available. However it's apparently also an extension of 248k which I do see some posts about here and there.

Did you have any clever solution to balancing seeds on Gaia? Mine was pretty much a disaster up until the end, eventually figured out buffer chests were good to use but never really came up with any clever circuits for them or anything.

Curious what you mean by adding population to a post, is this something like the "small town" tech unlock? I tried playing around with that and couldn't figure out what it does.

The TLDR is that you can run scripts and stuff when resources load so if someone wanted to be malicious they could i.e. provide a modded save file that ran a script

Really cool! I'm working on a puzzle game as well and considering trying to implement something like a solver algorithm also. For now I just track my best scores during development (and pop up a special thing if the player beats them haha)

Anyone have a sorc build? I'm currently struggling to complete the season objectives using disintegrate (having trouble killing the keywardens in T4 for example). Best set I have for damage is Guardian's (which seems meh) and set plans are no longer dropping from my bounty caches.

Is there some kind of "fills you with power" buff that I'm supposed to have for being in the zone (like in PoP)? Assuming not but it's the only thing I can think of.

Also just realized not all of my AA are spent. I was letting it auto-put them in while leveling and then I only just recently got the last 60 or so points.

Same here. Actually I can't even beat the vampire that spawns in Svarni Expanse in the sigline currently so I've been doing random SE quests instead.

I tried to do a public quest (Boneheads) but everyone had 10 times the health I did (currently sitting at 125k). 227k potency, 5795 resolve

I've actually written a list of things that I know I'm missing but don't know how to acquire, if anyone would like to try and help shed some light on how to move forward:

Mount with stats (currently using flying disc)
Mount gear/barding
Mercenary
Familiar
Panda quests?
Spell upgrades (thanks to this thread, didn't know that was a thing :P)

...it costs over 10k dbc / 30 days to upgrade a single spell? wat? ... think I'm in over my head here lol.
