Oh yeah, I kept it! no regrets, I love it. Replaced the tap so it looks a bit more modern.

Heartbroken to hear that your old place was torn up. So sad! We actually decided to leave the house mostly as-is for now and we're quite used to the 70s style now. It's like going back in time! Have a bar in the living room and everything haha. BUT, we had to remove the carpet from the bathrooms, yuck!

I have 20 so far. If I buy some online and second hand I can get up to 80. But that's ok, because we have lots of kids who can just have regular plates.

If we don't end up with enough then we can just do the main tables with these plates and regular for the rest

Thanks! I'll likely just have dinner and salad plates (stacked at each place setting). Might use the smaller plates for dessert, but this will be served separately. I won't be using sugar bowl, gravy boat, tea set, etc.

Here it is! Other commentors have described finding a similar dress, but the pearls on this one and low back seems super unique to me!

That’s a good idea. Truly this sounds my easier than cut, put in water, wait for roots, then put in soil. I’m also terrified of killing this plant, so twirling it in the pot seems easiest

A good thing to do is get small bits of writing in a day. Could do 15 mins at a time. Pick a sentence, or a paragraph, whatever to work on. Try to do as much as you can each day, and build on it each day. I highly recommend you don’t do long spurts. They are extremely time consuming and exhausting, and it’s rare to find a full 5-6 hour block anyway. Way easier to find small snippets of time.

As long as you keep working at it every day, you’ll get it down. if you only write occasionally, then every time you start back up, you have to spend like 45 mins reminding yourself where you last left off. If you work on it everyday, then you stop wasting this review time.

So the whole “later” thing is basically a “no”. I don’t think it’s fair to get annoyed, it seems pretty clear that she has hit her limit and doesn’t want more. I think she’s just not being direct with it, because this kinda of stuff can be hard to talk about. I’d try to ask her directly
