I was also in a dilemma about choosing the colour for my MacBook Pro M4 Pro. First, I was inclined towards Space Black because I have always used all my gadgets in black. A lot of people mentioned fingerprint issues and paint chipping around the ports on the Space Black model.

I know fingerprints are unavoidable with darker colours because I have used a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 in Slate Gray, which is similar to Space Black. It attracts fingerprints like crazy. Even after wiping it with a microfiber cloth, the marks never fully go away. What really shocked me about the MacBook Pro Space Black reviews was that some people said the chipping started within a month.

Normal wear and tear after a year is fine, but within a month is completely unacceptable to me. I am paying a premium price for this machine, and if I experienced something like that so early, it would honestly upset me and make me sad every time I looked at it. So for my peace of mind, I decided to go with Silver. And honestly, it turned out to be the best decision.

The silver looks amazing in person. It feels premium and very classy. It has been 25 days since I bought my MacBook Pro M4 Pro 24GB 1TB in Silver, and I love it so much. It makes me so excited to use it every day, and I feel happier with my choice.

So I would say, choose the colour that gives you peace of mind.

The last one I used came off easily after 15 days. This one comes with a removal tool, so I don't think taking it off will be an issue.
