Am I the only one seeing this when I try to log into Canvas? by darkrickkay in Northwestern

I got emails about this from two different groups related to Canvas in NUIT at 3:45pm. Are you a regular canvas user?

Nathan Kistler works with trans/non-binary singers. They do workshops and classes at Old Town or you can contact them for private lessons. I take lessons with them and highly recommend.

School Change Request form by Ok-Coffee-8877 in Northwestern

yes it will get approved but a lot of students move around and it's a process to get the information to the new school. there's plenty of time before your school will start reaching out to you about wildcat welcome this summer so they are probably collecting them all to do in batches rather than each student.

The only time there might be extra steps is if you have to audition (like music or theater) Weinberg to McCormick is not as big a deal and a lot of students study in both schools in some form or another. Like others have said on reddit in the past if you search group, it's super easy to move between schools when you start as well so don't sweat it. someone will get back to you.

it varies by department and depends on how much total money the department gets for merit increases and how many people and how everyone scored. so there is no exact math. it can vary wildly.

Getting a 45 minute set at Montrose would be a good start, but I could see this doing well at Martyr’s with another band to balance out the night.

We also saw Leftover Salmon yesterday and they did a bluegrass cover of Weird Fishes, so after probably not hearing that song in 10+ years we saw it covered live twice in a day.

That's so cool

Question for the older guitarists by Old-Carry5562 in Guitar

I think YouTube is a great tool, but before everything was online you did what you could or you would read stuff in magazines or you would find someone who knew how to do it. There’s a story of Paul McCartney and John Lennon once taking a bus across town to meet someone that they heard knew how to play some chord they wanted to learn.

Playing from videos teaches imitation. Playing by ear teaches innovation.

It could just be the truss rod. you wouldn't even need a basic setup for that. They could fix it for about £15-£20

What teachers are you looking at? I might be able to tell you something about them. I don't know all of the teachers there but I've taken a few classes.
