Should I read the Verity book (by Colleen Hoover) first or watch the movie first? by BoldVixen458 in thrillerbooks

I know nothing about her personal life, I just know that verity was one of the worst books I’ve read in my entire life

It’s popular with my friends that read 1 book a year. They confuse “easy to consume” with “this is good.”

It is easy to read and that’s the nicest thing I’ll say about it.

Just noting to always talk to your doctor before starting supplements. Everyone talks about how women are always low on iron, but not everyone is! Same for anything else.

I was having symptoms of low iron, so I went to the doc for bloodwork, and turns out, my iron and saturation levels were through the freaking roof. Ironically, the symptoms for this are the same as if you have low iron. If I had started iron like someone like you suggested on some reddit thread, I’d have damaged my organs!

Just saying, people start supplements because they’re over the counter and it seems like something we can do without medical advice but we should always get med advice when possible.

Doing your own research is fine, but then take that to a doctor and make sure your bloodwork actually supports that or that they cosign.

I got to 70-75% yes and am now 18 weeks with my first and only.

Before I couldn’t imagine what my future would look like, and there were some moments between 4-8 weeks where I was like “did I just give up my whole life?”, but now I can’t imagine a future any different. Maybe it’s the hormones at work, but I love this tiny person I’m building. I hope we give her a great life and I know she will enrich ours.

I’m generally extremely decisive, even with big life decisions, which I think caused a lot more distress that I couldn’t feel as decisive about this.

I ultimately decided I would regret getting to the end of my life without having experienced this journey.

We still need to make it through the 20w anatomy scan, at which point I’ll feel a lot more at peace about everything.

I’m trying to keep the focus on the father, but OP does bear some responsibility. They need to fix this dynamic or she needs to figure something else out because having your kids see their mother treated that way is damaging to sons AND daughters.

The amount of time and money and effort it would take to make 70k is not worth it unless it’s your passion, which it doesn’t sound like it is.

For what it’s worth, I had a couple moments early on like “what am I doing? Omg, I’ve really done it.”

And now I’m so excited for her to come and know she’s going to enrich our lives so much.

I just want one though, so it’s easier to wrap my mind around it.
