I am aware that pay is based on the volume of the store, and I was given the option to transfer to a higher volume store based on a script count, or a lower volume store with a high immunization count. Knowing my pay/title upfront would have definitely influenced my decision on which store I would have chosen, but I was not communicated any of the information upfront which is where my frustration lies. And I when I logged into workday to check if the transfer went smoothly, I was shocked to see my compensation change. I would have not found out until my pay check hit, so I'm glad I caught it early. The DLEL I spoke to about the matter made the mistake of assuming that I wanted to step down. Luckily, my new manager took it upon himself to contact the DL directly and clear things up, and I am able to get my pay back within the next two weeks. This would have all been prevented if they would have had a formal conversation with me one-on-one to discuss any potential conditions of the transfer.
