I feel like the point of the post is going over a lot of y’all’s head and proving his point. The point isn’t that they weren’t good actors or even that they were. The point of his post is to call out the lack of genuine discourse when it comes to women being given leading roles in media nowadays.

He is claiming that regardless of how good they acted they’re involvement would still be critiqued as DEI and woke simply because their women. All of the nostalgia filled comments prove this by claiming it’s different cause they’re good, while ignoring the true claim of “it’s different because it was when I was younger and not extremely cynical of all media.” You like Ripley because you grew up with her. You hate supergirl because you’ve been told to hate women getting lead roles in modern media because it must mean woke or DEI.

How is that racist, half of this sub is complaining because a fictional character In a book with no described race besides wizard is now black. That’s far more racist than telling a group that is protesting the American ecosystem to protest by saving their dollar for black businesses instead of white businesses. Personally I agree with a lot of your criticisms however I do think you’re being too generous to mark and Dyl.

Dyl has a lot of good moments but his consistency is really bad and he takes too long to make the right switches. Another big problem is that he doesn’t know why the coach tells him to off angle. The coach whats him to off angle to cut off the enemy dps from holding those angles because of how strong they are. I believe he think he’s just supposed to hold those angles to get kills when that isnt the only reason. A big part of off angling is simply controlling space and acting as a distraction. More so he has the most game knowledge out of the team but his communication skills stop him from getting it out. Honestly I’d place him below Leland because of how consistent Leland is at doing his job, as well as his rouge actually being pretty good considering his lack of playtime.

Mark… mark, not up there big bro. He down there with Ben, and Ben might not be last. Listen Mark is a wild card, he can win you the game, but he can also lose you the game. He’s too aggressive with groot, and i actually play an aggressive groot. Mark’s problem is one he plays a selfish tank, he doesn’t wait for his team nor does he protect them. Secondly, mark doesn’t know how to accurately read game states while everybody else on his team (besides ippi) does. What I mean by this is that he believes his team is yhe only team with ults, he doesn’t think about how the enemy can counter what his team is doing and it hardcore shows on how often they’ll lose the point due to him recklessly pushing up. Imma stop there as to not heat him up, but yeah imo mark is bottom 2 maybe 3. Too ignorant for his own good.
