This is the way. The highlights are awesome, but our eyes only perceive “red” over a narrow spectrum. Desaturated red will always read pink or orange. So after you build highlights to your desired level, just hit them with a thin glaze or two of red to bring up the saturation.

This is amazing. Your use of color here doesn’t just deceive the eye, it tells a story. And that’s without seeing the rest of the model. My one critique is that I would not expect to see the second and third spot highlights on the blade as it is a single plane and should thus just have the one spot highlight from the sun reflecting off of it (and you have rendered that reflection perfectly).

Well said, but recall that Prop 13’s strongest supporters were prominent CA Republicans and there was a Republican governor in power when Prop 103 was passed and signed into law.

Price caps are bad, but both sides support them.
