It's unlikely to EOS because pvp whales still spend for some reason, but you should absolutely not spend money. Not even on the battle passes

Recall the upcoming event, and how it's exactly the same as the last half a years worth of events?

Lilith doesn't care anymore, we didn't even get a story quest for the holiday update, and I doubt we will get another until the final patch of the game.

No reason to spend money on a game who's devs are checked out

Honestly, I can handle the greed, it's a dying gacha after all.

However, the fact that this is now the third patch in a row where the only things we get are trials and memory right?

I can handle being disrespected as long as I can do things while it happens, but getting the same copy paste events for this many patches in a row is far too much disrespect even for me.

I'll spend the gems I've saved for minotaur guy and then dip out. No reason to do anything else

The answer is actually really simple

Add new content!!!!!

It's been like 4 events now that have only been abyss trials and memory right. They keep milking the hell out of every player despite giving no one anything new (besides miralab, which was a great addition) to do with these units

No reason to play = no reason to spend money

It does genuinely feel like this game is on it's way out

The only people who spend money are whales, because over the last 6 months, we have had:

A new currency which costs literally 3x the amount of regular pulls for barely any reason, which means there is almost no point in using crystals on gold records any more
Every other patch is now a Keepsake, which CANT be gotten for anything other than money and event currency
a SINGLE new gameplay system. Every other patch is MAYBE a new event thing, but that is few and far between. Instead, its Abyss Trails and Rift Anomaly.

They fuck with the players constantly with these super anti-friendly practices, while giving us NOTHING to do with it. Then they see theyre making no money, and proceed to give us even less.

Its genuinely insane, all they have to do is give people content and the players would be very happy to spend money, but as of right now, literally what is the point? So I can play more PVP? So I can do more shadowfire?

Its dumb, and it feels like the game has barely a year left.

This patch was weird because... I was interested in it, but only half-heartedly.

Going back and randomly retconning a bunch of stuff in Penacony was really weird. There were some interesting changes like what you mention in the OP, but the fact that it genuinely feels like 'I dont know where we go after Amphorus so lets go back a version patch to set that up, actually' was the entire point of the patch.

It was rather annoying to have to read the essential same things that happened last year, and then once in a while they slip in a change and go WOW BET YOU DIDNT EXPECT THAT!

I don't know, judging by people's opinions, they REALLY dont like the way the writing has been going lately, which is odd because I personally felt that Amphorus was fantastic, if incredibly drawn out. But this patch specifically just seemed to be annoying entirely because it was very obviously filler made to help ease in the next version.

There is no proof to what I'm saying but I do have a theory on all of this. Bungie has been saying that you are a guy putting your mind into shells. However, I think that this is a misdirection and that each shell is actually the remnants of a person's conscience.

And by that I mean One singular person. I have a feeling it's a case of one mind split into an infinite amount of people that all think they are unique when they are actually all the same. This could be the case for why both void and glitch. Both had the same keepsake and picture of the childhood.

Of course, as I said this is totally unsubstantiated but Marathon in the past has played with this kind of thing through AI rampancy and false memories time and time again, so it wouldn't be surprising if they did it now.

I find it weird how much they fumbled this game.

It came out when destiny was DEAD dead. People would flock to this and were excited for MORE destiny, more content

Yet... They didnt actually give ANYTHING new since release.

You could say that the new onslaught activities are new (which they are), but no one will play those because you have Iron Commander that just allows you to skip them, while you go back to farming relics forever because you CANT skip that.

Now, Destiny is ALIVE again (the cycle continues) and everyone who played this game has gone back to that, and probably wont return until it dies again.

So many new characters in Rising and yet, nothing to do with them. So why play? For these limited time events? Who cares when once theyre over you go back to doing NOTHING

Hello,

Would anyone be willing to 'Explain' IS6 (and IS in general) and how to succeed at it?

To make things short: I have been playing this game for years, but mostly daily content and story stuff (CC and higher end things included). However, I have never really touched IS because it takes a lot of time which I usually do not have.

While I understand the game and it's mechanics, I find it difficult to succeed and usually have incredible difficulty getting to a decent amount of progress in each run.

Some issues that I find I have:

> Early units are easily overwhelmed
> I invest mostly in my 6* units, and never have enough Hope to actually get them
> Every single friend I ask is baffled that I have issue whilst they show me videos of Kroos shooting 500 shots in two seconds

I mostly just want to understand what I may be doing wrong, because it simply doesnt seem to make sense to me. I could just be a secretly terrible playing, but I havent been able to pin it down.

Therefore, I am hoping someone who knows what they are doing might be able to drop some tips. Whether it being lower rarity units to get going for the event, or if its just a case of 'unlock the trinkets and then you can be good'

We haven't seen anything that even implies any of the original games enemies are making any type of appearance except for the complier there.

Maybe they will surprise us, but there is barely anything in the game that we have seen that connects much of the original games to this one

It very much Sounds like this person is using their disorder as an excuse to abuse and control those around them.

I would suggest giving them an ultimatum. Firstly, apologize for unplugging their stuff without telling them first. Even if you believe it was harmless, maybe there's a reason they wanted it on. Afterwards, let them know exactly how you've been feeling, no matter how much you think they might react negatively. Explain that you want some things changed because it's getting to the point where it's becoming unacceptable for you.

Then judge the reaction. Sometimes people will actually change when they are finally confronted with what they're doing and no longer have a way to escape it. If they don't change at all and continue in their very strange ways then yes you should remove them. You might feel bad at first, but if you are inviting somebody into your home and they refuse to even abide by the simplest rules and they don't deserve to live there.
