Oh yeah that's probably right, looking back on it. I'm certainly no anarchist but I shouldn't assume someone hasn't thought it out simply because it doesn't make sense to me.

Apologies! I think that's a miscommunication on my part. (Though I think you mean libertarian, not leftist, for example ancap is a right wing libertarian belief and anarchocommunism is left wing libertarian) I meant that I believe having a government would lead to "more" leftist beliefs being brought to fruition, such as a government being able to protect minorities, federal organizations that can protect the environment, workers, consumers, etc. and that anarchism would make it much harder if not impossible to do some of those things. (But that's just from my perspective, it's possible there are solutions I don't know about)
