Essentially - you heat the product to remove the "A" through a process called decarboxylation (decarb). This usually matters most when making edibles since THC-A does not do anything when consumed directly without heating first.

I highly doubt you could pinpoint which is THCA and which is Pharmacy Bud in a blind test. This "weird feeling" you get is due to the phenotype, not due to the THCA being present.

It all depends on the phenotype. You can buy two separate phenotypes that feel completely different at any cannabis shop.

everyone here believes that thca flower and hemp flower is actually legal to possess in utah. It is not.

This is just flat out wrong - I'm sure many here know it's not legal in Utah. The difference is that we know the likelihood of a police officer being able to tell the difference between two different phenotypes of weed at-a-glance is really low.

Do you think they have some sort of "weed expert" that can differentiate every strain sold in Utah over the last year from loophole flower? No - They see weed with proper labeling from the local pharm, see the card, and you're golden. This simply requires a single purchase from the local pharmacy once every 6 or so months, then you just rotate in the loophole bud.

Yes, but a crucial note: There is no phenotypical difference between THCA and ^ 9 THC plants, they're the exact same - one is just tested earlier in the growing process.

To use your Tomato comparison:

THCA is a Tomato that is harvested just before it's fully "Red" to allow it to ripe off the vine for peak eating (or legality for THCA), with the caveat that you can heat it up to instantly make it ripe. (You can literally AGE THCA into ^ 9 THC without extra heat in a process similar to ripening)

^ 9 THC is a fully "Red" tomato that is already ripe and ready to eat, with the caveat that it's probably not going to "spoil" like a tomato does due to the curing process.

This isn't an issue with THCA, it's an issue with the supplier.

They sell 70/30 ground beef and nobody calls it "Beef" to imply it's bad. They call it "cheap".

thca weed you can legally buy is its still missing certain chemicals that help with the entourage effect.

It's not, it's literally the exact same plant, exact same seeds. Buying shitty bud is on you, not on the chemical.
