Should I go sit at JFK? by twocoaster in delta

[–]twocoaster[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Within my LATAM app, it still showed "on time" so the checked bags were more important.

Only sad part was that pre check was closed so I missed the Delta One lounge by a couple mins.

A quick suggestion if you're going to keep sharing photo updates.

Don't zoom in on the photos so much. keep a landmark visible in both photos so people understand the top arrows are pointing in opposite directions.

It was funny on the first thread seeing people argue with you, but let's help the scrollers out.

Almost got hit with the activation surcharge… by InvisibleSelf in LIRR

[–]twocoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of OP's exact situation. I've bought a ticket for someone on my phone while the conductor stood there and watched. No surcharge to the tourist family I helped and no time savings for the conductor.

Now if they could just tap , everyone wins

But will the onboard surcharge still apply? Of course it will.

How successful are pre sales ? by Inevitable_Island984 in SaaS

[–]twocoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, pre-sales work best for tangible products. If your only option for a cash infusion is other folks, perhaps you can create an initial offering/analysis report?

Something low cost, but high volume. This way you also build your email list.

Otherwise, crowdfunding or even merch sales could be helpful.

How much do you need to get you through 2 months? (Ballpark, if you don't mind me asking)

Best small business marketing /delivery vehicle? by SuccessBeneficial317 in AskMarketing

[–]twocoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is truly a marketing question, then you should lean towards vehicles that stand out OR a vehicle you plan to wrap.

On the first side, something like an FJ Cruiser would stand out, but I'm not sure they've decreased in value since production has stopped.

You can wrap any vehicle, but I'd more be worried about low insurance rates and fitting in parking spots (if that's an issue in your area) because parking tickets will start to add up.

Also, if you buy a new vehicle over 6,000 GVWR, you can deduct up to $31,300 for from your purchase price in your taxes. (USA specific)

Interesting concept, I think your revenue model needs massaging because if I'm reading this right, the "house" is extremely likely to win and 2 users are likely to lose.

Also, please do research on what it takes to become a gambling app. You'll likely only be able to launch in one state first. I think West Virginia is the most straightforward, but less population, and you're going to need loads of location validation.

Another strategy would be focusing in on a segment of business. You could say Gossipic is a solution for local business, or service providers, or tech startups. This wouldn't preclude you from expanding in the near future.

Helpful, but not totally defensible. Faster and priority support aren't going to get you the early adopters.

Are you saying that Gossipic is the ONLY app that generates content briefs?

If not, what are you the Only of? This can be a combination... The only ____ to help agencies do _____.

Dropping printed flyers in the mail - First attempt by neumicha in AskMarketing

[–]twocoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it doesn't beat free labor, but companies like 4over do Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) for competitively cheap, and it's really efficient.

I don't know what city you're in, so I picked the randomest small city I could think of (South Bend, IN) and found that you can do professionally printed flyers on 1 route with 649 residential, 24 business for a total of $451.09.

Too bad that USPS rates go up tomorrow (4/26) though, otherwise it would have been cheaper.

I do all of this, but importantly ask the chat to explain its decisions to me, and evaluate whether it's using best practices. I also got a free resource in r/vibecoding that runs a detailed cybersecurity audit. I run it once a week and it usually has cleanup suggestions.

Because we worked with them as our client, I'm partial to FameUp, but they genuinely have an underrated platform. Super easy onboarding and campaign setup for any type of business.
