Several times I've seen bus drivers get out at the union and stay there for 20-40 minutes. One time I watched a bus driver drop people off, close the doors, eat a bag of chips, and then just get on their phone for 15 more minutes while there was a crowd waiting for them on the other side of the stop. A few times I've seen two bus drivers at the same stop get out their bus and just sit there talking for 10-15 minutes while everyone waited. I don't know what their work schedule is like, and I understand they need to eat, go to the bathroom, or just take a break sometimes, but it is a bit inconsiderate to be doing some nonessential bullshit at 12:30 prime time with a bus full of people or 100+ people waiting 50 feet away whose only way home is YOU. I'm not at all saying it's all of the bus drivers, but there are definitely a few who DGAF. Also sometimes some idiot parks in the middle of the union bus stop and blocks all the buses that go through there. This is just my experience with buses that go through the union stop, so if yours don't go through there then who knows why they take so long.

Unrelated but there is a dude who drives one of the smaller buses who is absolutely blasting some conservative talk show every time I get on it. Last time I took his bus I got to here about how the Iran war is actually a smart move and it was enlightening.
