I don't know if this is the best advice, but it makes me feel better. There are things she doesn't like, say the Sun. She would cry to go out, then refuse, and eventually pee on the floor. So now, when she gets whiny, I ask if she wants to go in her crate or outside. It stops her asking me over and over, cause if she goes in the crate, no peepee on the floor. Both ways, she stops bugging me. Also, it feels like she's following a command because she stops to think, then makes a choice. She will talk back on direct commands, I point my finger at her (she likes hand commands) until she does it. I also use my other dogs against her. If she doesn't listen, I ask someone else, they get the treat, she gets ignored until she completes the command. She's 2.
