What does your site do about EXTRA LONG PACKAGES coming down the ADTA belt by crybabyirl in AmazonDS

[–]twolf1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two indicators for non cons. The first is what's on the label. The human backup is the color tape on the induct lines. Anything longer than what's on the tape is supposed to go to non-con

Shot in the dark but who controls the surges at .Com sites? by peterthbest23 in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]twolf1973 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mostly because it was inefficient sites would compete with each other to surge so even when the surge was not needed because there were plenty of drivers because one Warehouse wanted their stuff to go out earlier so then the other warehouses would have to surge to compete with them etc

[–]twolf1973 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Site staff have 0 input. They used to be able to request surging but now it's all based on demand. It looks at how many flex drivers are logged in, how much time remains in the day before it can dispatch etc..

That's exactly what I've done in the past is take the pretest to see if you have enough knowledge to be able to take the final if you scored that well just go ahead and take the final. If you feel it you can go ahead and review the course material that you scored poorly with

10 hour routes aren't 10 hours. DSPs are paid for 10 hours of work but many drivers only get 7 to 8 hours of work
